Yes indeed - my first batch of Biltong - half made classic style, half spicey with added homegrown chilli and szechuan pepper. It is tasty, and I recommend making your own.

    The TZUK Speedmaster Thread

Finally joined the Speedmaster family; my new Sapphire Sandwich is here. I wondered what the fuss was all about but now I have one I totally understand!

I actually bought a smaller poster of the same that cost me money, I didn't like having to pay for something Omega gave out for free. I then decided to send Omega an email and was surprised they actually sent one out, which is the one I now have framed.

Cheers guys, I just installed some of those programmable led rgb lights into a ikea bookshelf in my office and hey presto.

Next mission is to convince Omega to give me one of their gold astronauts for my display. I already have the 60th anniversary poster framed.

    All good stuff.
I was going back through this thread and wondered if the Omega extract narrowed down the date and so the accuracy of the published table?

  28. #928
Not sure which table you're referring to as I haven't trawled through 18 odd pages! but 22.08m is March 1965...

Thanks, but I was interested in whether the extract from Omega supported or contradicted the table (which ever one was used).

Or do you have an alternative?

I wouldn't be too disappointed if I were you. Below are pics of the 1045 used in the 'Grail' and what the rather nicer and more up market 3303 used in yours look like:

The speedy reduced movement doesn’t deserve the adverse reputation for being difficult to service in my opinion. Its fiddly but straightforward enough. I wouldn’t ket the stories put you off buying one.
