I have seen people getting 20% and more and some members have links to ad's (any in Manchester?) if that's possible I will be getting one cheers
I was offered a 3k deal from two Ad's, but admittedly have good relations with both.

With regards the bracelet, I could t get on with it as if felt very heavy for the Watch head and lacked adjustment for a good fit.

Gaz, the Omega store in Manchester offered me a Speedmaster (albeit a FOIS) for 3k as a 'starting point' so expect a little less is possible.

New to the forum and my first proper post. I’ve always been an Omega Seamaster fan, but this weekend pulled the trigger on this little Speedy... Delighted with my purchase!

I sold my Speedy Tuesday because design had been put above readability. The standard Speedy Pro is a better design.

Of course it’s better design. That’s all about limited editions in case of the Speedy. The original is so optimized and perfect that almost any change makes it only worse on readability or esthetics you name it. Therefore LEs must offer something else. However from utilitarian aspect you will be struggling to get anything better or say even as good as the original Speedmaster.

Definately (maybe) next on my list.
Pondering between BNIB from an AD or used with depreciation done and Patina developing.
Then I get sidetracked by the Ultraman (yes I know it’s sold out officially, but there’s plenty available at minimal premiums).
Plus there’s the inevitable 50 year anniversary of the Moon Landing next year, which will surely see another LE (any predictions ?!).

I bought my first Speedy last week and am really enjoying it. I removed the bracelet straight away and put on a grey canvas from Barton's. Will get something in leather for it soon though.

I've got two perlon straps ( black and grey ) free to anyone that wants them.

Only had them on the speedy a couple of times I don't like Perlons at all.

Let me know if anyone wants them and I'll post them tomorrow.

With the arrival this week of my third watch in the Speedmaster family, I thought I'd share some pictures.

You don't see many of the new model Speedmaster II nor the Triple Date for that matter. The Speedmaster Reduced is often in the shadow of its bigger brother but for the price represents a lot of watch for the money.

I would like a vintage Speedmaster MK IV to add to the collection.

Is this a triple date speedmaster as well?

Any idea on the year it was released?
Tempted by it in a local second hand shop no box or papers though.

No, it's not a triple date. This URL has some interesting reading about the Speedmaster Reduced and the Triple Date. I'm not sure what model that is, I'm sure someone with more knowledge than me will help out here. It does seem expensive though without any paperwork. Have a look on the 'net for pre-owned Speedmaster for an idea of prices.

    (Cant edit the previous post)

Seems chronomaster have it for £1600 so not too far off the price for a high street store although it is the black version in store.

I love the moonwatch, especially with fading tritium. Here is a pic of my former 1998 Moonwatch:

The speedy reduced much underated and still love the minute designations around the dial rather than just markers.

I know these aren't as popular as the 'professional' series but I'm glad I went for one, probably the last of the (more vintage) affordable speedmasters...

To the experts does this one look ok? I assume it's had a refinish in its life. I'm happy with it anyway :-)

Wouldn’t it be nice if Omega found some way to beef-up the WR (10atm would be welcome) without changing the looks or size. Is that beyond the wit of man.

A purely LCD Speedmaster Professional - one of its kind (in the Professional series) and only made for 1 year I believe.
