I have a speedy reduced Schumacher racing. Really nicely proportions and the chequered dial with the red accents really sets it off. Had mine from new and had no issues with it.

What is the strap on the Lunar please? That shade of brown goes well with the black.

That's a Haveston strap, you can order them on their website, about £23 iirc.

I eventually took ownership of a speedy last August - straight on the Omega nato

...& still on the same strap.

Loving my latest speedy. After having so many different models, I think this 145.0022 is my favourite.

That is a beauty. It's the sort of thing that makes me consider about selling my 2014 Speedmaster to go for the older model (even though they are practically the same). This is a mad hobby at times

Excellent strap choice Gav, looks great. I've got a similar one from Pav but haven't got round to fitting it yet.

Some very nice pieces in here. Such a versatile watch. Interesting to see the slight differences between all the model types.

Bought my first ever Speedmaster today.
    1985 vintage with 1479 bracelet.

Was looking for some strap options. There are some great examples on this thread.

I do love a racing dial Ben, very nice.
And that Elastic NATO fits itperfectly.
Good to see the hands back in the right places.
    Oh, wait.....

Mine came direct from Omega James, via an authorised Omega repairer with a parts account.

Given the FOIS is supposedly discontinued, anyone know what number they finally reached?

Unreal - works so well with the nato... wonder if tintin would look equally good with a matching nato

I think they got to around 16000, I saw high 15000 numbers shown on the Omegaforums.

The FOIS is a really nice watch and has been super value in the used market in the past. I got mine for less than 2000gbp.

I haven't worn mine for a few weeks. I thought a new strap had rekindled the love but nope, bit bored with it again.

I like the way that you can see the detailing of the subdials and the way that they're recessed into the main dial.

    The TZUK Speedmaster Thread

Old pic, but I really love this one. I know it’s not a proper speedy, but the white dial just works so well.

Finally, after years of umming and ahhhing, trying it on around a dozen times and always walking away thinking it looked too big for my puny wrists, I finally decided to take my glasses off and just get one
