Hi everyone. I am in complete and utter shock - I bought a ticket simply as a small token of respect for Paul and Iain's tremendous efforts in organising the raffle itself.
Having never won as much as a brass farthing in the past I think I need to let this sink in for a while
Thanks again to Iain, Eddie and of course Paul's family. This is a fantastic community

Congrats to the lucky winner, although I have to say I think this whole thing was more than just the winning of a watch.
Iain top job in organising and raising so such money for the charities concerned, it was a massive effort of your behalf. Thank you.

Thanks again Iain, enjoy your watch Peck1.
Thinking of Paul and his family as well.
Just to echo everyone comments, well done Iian, sterling effort
Very well done Iain for organising this and many congratulations to Peck1 for winning.
Started out of tragedy, this thread has shown a fantastic response from a great group of people - hats off to all who took part.
Well done Iain, you have done a wonderful thing on behalf of this forum and for that I can't say thank you enough.
Maseman - An exceptional forum hero!
Well done to the winner :-)
A huge thank you from me to Iain for organising and administering this - I'm sure it was a nightmare at time
And last but not least, thanks to all those others that contributed to this worthy cause. A proud day for TZ-UK.
Having woken up and realised this actually did happen I'd like share my enormous chunk of good fortune by adding £400 to take us up to £7000 for Paul's family's chosen charities. I'll also contribute to the fundraiser, and finally I will make a donation to CALM (The Campaign Against Living Miserably), a small charity doing some very good work for men's mental health (https://www.thecalmzone.net). I lost a friend to suicide a couple of years ago, something I think about every single day.
Anyway, happy Friday everyone. Iain as you know I'm currently away but will be in touch next Tuesday to sort the additional donation out.
That is great stuff. Thanks again Iain. Good health guys
Congrats on winning Peck. A very, very nice gesture on your part below. This watch has clearly gone to a top man.
