Any trampoline Experts? (garden home use)

Our 10 year old 8ft Trampoline has seen it's last jump this weekend, the springs are all rusted and the mat has ripped away from the seams

i bought this blindly at the time as it was the in thing but seeing as ours gets used all the time id like to buy a semi decent one to replace it.

im now looking at a 14ft or 16ft round with enclosure and rain/winter cover (we have ample space for it)

ive done some reading and it seems what is recommended is 8.5" springs, and 1.5mm to 2.0mm top frame thickness which is HOT galvanised - lol yes its amazing what you can find with a bit of research :)

does the spring actually matter? they range from 7" to 8.5"

    any recommendations?

    thanks

No recommendations, i only have the £100 10ft Asda one for the last 3yrs, great fun, but my old knees have taken a battering this weekend.
Got a tent to go over the top recently, so we're gonna camp out in it when the weather warms up a bit.
8ft to 16ft is one hell of a jump in size, double the diameter is 4x the area, sounds huuuge
    Enjoy

We went from an 8ft to 12ft and the thing that amazed me was the extra height it had to have, upset next door as it meant my son was now looking straight over their fence just standing on it, never mind when he started to bounce on it.

We had a Domyos 14ft trampoline from Decathlon for four years in Budapest. It lasted brilliantly, although I dismantled it and put the parts under the eaves during the winter. The only thing that perished (due to summer UV) were the lightweight cosmetic covers for the foam on the net supports and they were not essential. It had anti-UV treatment on the safety pad, bed and net and the metalwork was galvanised steel with rustproof treatment. There was a two-year warranty that we did not need to use and spare parts, if needed, are available.

We have an 8' x 12' rectangular one, much safer for two kids to use at the same time.
So clever my foot fell off.

    Thanks all

Its amazing what a bit of research can do to one's Trampoline Knowledge :)

I've now decided sites that do not list full specs are not worth bothering with

what's important is (in no order):

    1. Warranty - longer the better
    2. Top frame and leg Frame Wall thickness - 1.5mm+ seems to be the ones to go for
    3. Spring Count - 88 for 14Ft 7" springs or 96 for 8.5" springs
    4. Spring Length - 7" or 8.5" with 8.5" being the holy grail
    5. Spring padding material and width - 20mm+
    6. Frame HOT Galvanised - many are....to pass the CE certifications but needs to be checked and listed
    7. Accessories - are ladders, weather cover included?

now ive found a 14Ft one that looks great, spec looks great and ticks all the boxes apart from price.

But i have also found this one from ebay of all places which is within budget, slightly lower spec. im just enquiring about warranty

Have you considered an in-ground trampoline? I've just had a 12ft one installed and I'm really happy with it. My garden isn't that big and I was worried about upgrading from the 8ft standard one that my son has now outgrown, that it would be a bit of an eyesore, but it looks great. Avoids privacy problems with the neighbours and, being ground level, it's naturally safer.

Did my research and decided on this company in the end. Really heavily engineered...

And when my son grows up and leaves home, I'll have the ground work for the pond already sorted!
