Nice pics of a great looking watch, if only it were bigger though ..
A review of this watch before I sell it next month to raise funds for a new one!
This Omega Speedmaster Good Year Limited Edition has been produced in 1997 to celebrate Good Year 350th Grand Prix victories. This watch has been produced in a very limited serie and was given by Good Year to the Grand Prix team ans engineers.
It is equiped with the Omega 1150 mechanism.
Hope you have enjoyed it!

Very nice 8) not seen one before

Ditto on the never seen - that looks intersting - I like the numeral font, interesting date indicator! Bracelet or strap?
It was furnished with an Omega brown leather strap which in my taste was giving an old look to the watch. I have replaced it with an Hirsch carbon which reinforces the racing character.

I think the presentation box is very cool...
Good review but I can't buy into the colours...
Just a lovely looking watch that :) I love the little splashes of colour here and there and make it really interesting to look at. Very cool too the way the lume on the hands and numerals has aged nicely 8)
.
I love all that engraving on the back. It hangs very well.

Whoa, what a rare piece of watch! Really nice. Does anybody know how much of them were produced?
Superb
classic, clean watch....like it!
I've seen quite a few of these, over the years - without realizing that they were a special edition. Very nice watch, I have to say. Somebody should put together a list of all the Speedie Specials - it would make excellent reading.
Super looking Omega almost bought the same watch
How long have you got? People have dedicated their lives to this particular Stone of Sisyphus, and they're still nowhere near done :DOriginally Posted by Joyce
I like this version, and the regular 7750 Date version with the same plain hands (below). Bit more interesting than the rather austere original:
...but what do I know; I don't even like watches!
I saw one of these in the flesh at a GTG, fitted to a deep red carbon fibre effect strap.
It looked pretty sweet and at about 38mm suited the wearer who had a fairly large wrist.
Superb !!

fab watch and great pics
Thanks for the pics, nice angles, I've always been passively interested in this one.

Is it wrong for me to prefer the box to the watch?
