    The Tudor appreciation thread

So, we have a Breitling and an Omega appreciation thread and both of those feature some excellent examples depicting the heritage and the history of both brands!
So, I would love to see some Tudors! The brand has a long history and has produced some beautiful watches throughout the years.
I will kick this off by showcasing three of mine.

    B serial big block

    H serial 79260

    B serial 79190

    All three together!

Very nice .... I missed a few chances on big blocks a few years back...great watches though !

That B series big block is rather nice, would love to add one of those to my collection at some point.

Is it the Oysterdate that is the 'Big block' and the Princedate that is the slimmer? Or am I oversimplifying. I only ask because it is on a wish list and you seem to have both.

My three below, the Snowflake is on a vintage leather now although I sourced a correct bracelet from the forum just in case. The Jumbo gets the most wear as it's my smart work watch and nicely understated imo. Not sure there's any others I'm after but if there is then I know a member on here who's likely to have it. If we're lucky he might pay a visit to the thread and post a few pics....

Both models boast pretty much the same thickness. The big block feels thicker because of the straight slab sides. The latter version has a curved case that tends to conceal the actual thickness!

This is really nice! I hope it still sounds nice and strong! How difficult would it be to have it serviced?

Tudor watches were the mainstay of my collection quite a few years ago and had many subs, chromos and dress watches, a few old pics below

It runs about 45 seconds a day slow. I know it had a service by Rolex in 1977, but not sure about any history since. I keep thinking about sending it to Brendan for him to have a look at.

The alarm is still able to wake me from an afternoon snooze!

Tudor seems to be embracing their past and marrying it nicely with their current technologies. This is not only true for the heritage line but also in the new LHD pelagos as well. I love the roulette date disk!

No, but of course you could.

There are lots of Destro watches. Very comfortable to wear on the left wrist.

That Ranger is very nice and without the rectangular second hand marker I'd expected. Was that a later variation or a mod of some sort?

Traded this off, was thinking of getting it back, and then they released the BB 36, so that's what I'm going for next!

Here is my Tudor family group

I have had loads, and even found a few for watch-loving mates, including several jumbos (err, at least 5), a 7020/0, another lollipop and my B-in-Law's 79090.

Nearly 2 years out of action. Would love to see thread kick off again.
I'm a huge fan of the brand.
I've had a few but now only left with my 58 which I still struggle to take off my wrist.

I've owned a blue 76100 and a black 79090 in the past as well as a reverse panda 79280. I've sold them all and only have one left, the 94010 Submariner below. I hope Tudor releases a BB58 in blue soon so I can have a blue Tudor again.

Great to see you still have the jumbo. You beat me to this when it last sold. Still happy to take it off your hands if you ever decide to sell ;) Cracking little collection you have there.

It's an old post but I do still have it. The collection, and life, has moved on in the last couple of years so I haven't worn it very much and was just wondering last week if it deserved a new home so will bear your comments in mind.

I thought the same, the 9401/0 looks almost new compared to my Snowflake of a similar era although I do like the aged tritium look.

Cheers. I completely missed that this was an old thread that had been resurrected. Hopefully some more people will post. It's nice to see some Tudors.
