    First ever internal mod

Fitted FFF dial to my recently aquired Seiko. First time I have removed the hands of a watch, did not realise how much my hands shake! Anyway, I'm well chuffed, also stuck on a mesh bracelet I had in the bits box to round off the retro look. I got a Brady sailcloth with it but it feels too stiff to be comfortable, maybe later. Here are some pics.

Well done, it looks great on the mesh bracelet. You are a braver man than me, I just looked for one already done.

Like that lots, I've done the black bay mod to the same model, but like the 55 fathoms. I've found original Seiko hands are far easier to refit than custom ones, but both are okay and it gets easier with practice. Nice job.

Thanks for the positive remarks. I wore it all day today and kept finding myself having a quick glance to see how it was looking. Funny how price does not matter when it gives you that tickle! Thinking of a bezel insert change now to get the lume effect.

Sorry, no before pic, but it was a standard SNZH55J1. Google images will show you how it looked pre-me.
