    Vintage Sub like itch scratched.

Had my fair share of Vintage Sub's, I just never felt comfortable wearing them due to cost, damaging them and fear of getting mugged.

Well, this beauty arrived today -

OK, it's not a Rolex, but it cost less than a 10th of the price and doesn't look half bad. :)

    Really liking it.

That does look pretty good - so they've dropped the silly 'vintage' text from the dial. Good move.

Lost the red triangle though :(

No need too feel sad.. I've ordered the red triangle bezel insert from Stienhart.. Only €15.00 delivered. ;)

Nice. Which model is that Karl? Nearest I can see on their site is Ocean One Vintage but that has Mercedes hands and an explorer 3,6,9 dial

    It's the Ocean One Legacy.

(A Gnomon run of just 200.)

Cheers. If you come to flip it at.any point do let me know. I've been looking at the vintage but can't quite get on with that dial whereas this is perfect.

    Will do. ;)

The pencil hands are a nice change too.

Big fan of Steinhart here, I would like to see that model in the flesh.

It certainly looks good in the pictures. How does it look in real life?

    Absolutely fantastic. :D

My only quibble is the Domed Sapphire, I just wish it was Plexi.
