I have the automatic version of the Tag Heuer Aquaracer Chronograph but I wouldn't mind picking up one of these quartz models, either.

    This is my auto version.

If I could have a Citizen's eco-drive with Bulova's high frequency sweep second and Grand Seikos construction then I'd be a happy man.
Does spring drive count as quartz though? if it does then scratch the above and insert either the snowflake, the sbge201, the ananta moonphase, the landmaster or spacewalk, any of which I'd be happy with.

I think you need to try one, there are a few models but the Stop 2 Go has two movements, one for the second hand which takes 58 seconds to get back to 12 then stops for 2 seconds and the other for the hour and minute hands, the minute hand clicks over which I find myself watching often and find it therapeutic lol.

It was my Marine Chronometer but I sold it. Now it's my X33 Skywalker.

At the moment....this. Comes with a bracelet, but better on a strap. Most of the ‘classic’,GS designs work better with a strap

That small gold star signifies a precision of 5 secs a year.

Only the second ever quartz GS with a display back. That same movement is in all of them, no plastic.
This came curtesy of ‘Binsull’, a serious Grand Seiko guy. Limited edition of 600. A bit bling until you put it on a sober strap.

    What's your favourite quartz watch!

    Similarly...

BOR type bracelet removed immediately and Teju Lizard strap fitted. Lovely combo IMHO.
(With a nice but pricey GS tang buckle)

For a watch which has never been serviced and is knocking on for 30 years old I guess, this keeps stunningly good time.

Looks great - might have to try lizard on the SBGX009 👍
