My Rado,
I love the design, and it was my first decent watch.

My tuna.
Besides being a stunner, this post on the movement really helped in my appreciation for quartz. It is two posts down.

My partner has several 'posh' watches, Rolex, Cartier. But the one she wears most is a simple Citizen eco-drive 30mm, water resistant to 100metres, with six year guarantee. Cost....£150.
These 2 should cover most situations
Omega seamaster 2264
Nowadays - this one ...
...just a Seiko to most non WIS.

CWC's RN diver"s watch (no date) on an original MN strap. Tough, uncomplicated but with a certain style.
Basic Grand Seiko. Least expensive Grand Seiko. Unsullied design.

Another CWC diver. Matt case and black bezel.

Has to be my Grand Seiko HAQ SBGX263, really - beautiful in form, and admirable in function. A watch with a lot of thought put into it by GS.
Honorable mention to my CWC G10, a super little watch with an ETA 955 that is terrifically accurate, even by quartz standards.
Certainly not to everyone's tastes, but everyone who's tasted one likes the taste. The best, practical G-Shock there is, the GW-5000-1JF. Solar/atomic with a fully-featured module and only two drawbacks; a quietish alarm and compared to battery powered Gs, a backlight that while entirely functional is not as bright.
My black quartz SMP is my favourite as it was a present from the Mrs many years ago but this rare Doxa Aqualung US divers comes close.
Cheers,
Neil.
A humble Seiko SGG731. Great size, all titanium, good movement (hits every marker and 5 year battery life), sapphire, decent water resistance, slate grey dial, applied markers and baton hands. And all for not much more than £100. No half links provided, but it happened to size perfectly for my wrist. Happy days - undoubtedly the best value watch I own.
This, by a long way
If the lume were better it would be perfect.
In fact, I think I am going to get mine relumed to make it so, but it is still penty good enough as it is.

It is the A-13A chronograph by a great Italian guy called Paolo Fanton.
100m WR, centre seconds and minutes on the chrono, and hour-hacking make this a very usable watch for all occasions.

I just love the design of the mondaine Swiss railway watch. Haven’t seen a stop2go one, but that’s a unique quartz movement that’s very cool.

Has to be this, TAG Aquaracer/Alarm. Not been off my wrist in nearly a year!
This has recently moved into pole position for me.

Just seen this Neil, very nice & if ya ever fancy a swap.....
I've moved away from vintage mechanical of late, too much hassle when things go wrong. Some weird stuff from the 80s & early 90s, like early Citizen pilot types now grab the attention.
My Sinclair gets the nod also but I can't get the bugger to work!
This one for me: does everything need in a watch.
I love quartz and have several. For a favourite, it would have to be this...
Don't have any high end quartz, I have a few Nixon's that are ok and quite aesthetically pleasing but these two would be my favourite quartz....

Perhaps not my favourite but certainly an interesting one.

If we’re talking normal quartz then it’s the Heuer Night Diver for me...
But if it’s something a bit more mega, then it’s this...
