    What's your favourite quartz watch!

The majority of posts on here are for mechanical watches. So I thought I'd start a post on which quartz watch do you own that is your favourite. Or I can open this up and ask what you would like to own.

My favourite owned quartz is a Breitling Colt 44:

My favourite quartz is my SMP 300 which I wear regularly.

I kind of hanker after a 38.5mm Aqua Terra Quartz but not quite enough to actually buy one!

I wear mine a lot. Just so easy to pick up and go and works well for most occasions.

This is however my current favourite.

And I have this new incoming waiting for me when I get home in 11 months.

This just looks so classy. More people in the UK should be educated about Grand Seiko

Here's mine. Not fantastically expensive. Has a spelling mistake. But great case and lug shape and perfect size on the wrist.

That's very difficult for me to answer as 45 of my 50 watches are quartz. But the ones that get the most wear are the top 5 in this pic.

CWC RN diver, no-date version. Also the Sinn EZM2 Hydro. I also had a Longines VHP (very high precision) dress watch back in the early 1990s. The latter was probably my first good quality watch.

    Great choice mate!
I have a white face GS Quartz diver myself!

Omega SMP Bond Quartz, great Watch.

  32. #32
Possibly the SMP 2264, which I no longer have any :(

Current ownership favourite is my Omega Skywalker, followed by the black dial/bezel version of the above pictured Tag Aquaracer which is a great watch for the money. I still love the 5600 G-Shocks though.

I wish Omega would put. Thermocmpensated quartz in the SMP300m range, along with a slim Master Chronometer movement.
It's just a matter of time...

I wish they would make a Quartz Planet Ocean. In fact I'd like Omega to make quartz versions of a lot of their range but they seem to have stepped away from that.

I do like quartz for their robustness, pick up and go ability and that they are often much more reasonably priced than mechanical movements.

When you see nearly 40 year old quartz watches still going strong I'm not too worried about longevity either.

Loving this. Almost brought a silver 1 a year ago. But it wasn't scratched enough to make it cheap enough for my budget at the time as I know it would be a regular wearer. I know iceblue had one of these as well and from memory was on a nice strap combo.

Glad I started this thread now.

I only have one which is this MWC:

This is worn when going down the pub. Not stylish or a statement piece but can take / has taken lots of abuse.

Don't have any high end quartz, I have a few Nixon's that are ok and quite aesthetically pleasing but these two would be my favourite quartz....

This GS is the favourite (and only Quartz) I currently own.

Must admit I fancy the new X-33 but I'd love the Solar Impulse version but on the titanium bracelet that was unfortunately not an option.
