Wow that dial is amazing. I've been waiting to see the new moonphase in the flesh, i'm wondering whether the sunburst dial is similar to this?

I've been after one of these for ages, and managed to track down a NOS example from 2004 that a collector in Sydney was selling. It arrived yesterday, so here's a quick iPhone shot before I post a proper write up later.

I spotted another nice example the other day. £2500 might be a little steep, but it has been back to Omega and comes with a 2yr warranty.

I think that's a very good buy, actually. Prices for Railmasters have really firmed up over the last 2-3 years, and there are many advertised at that price without the bracelet and without the service. I'd have been tempted myself, even though I was after the 39mm.

Almost local then. I think 38-40mm is the sweet spot so great catch.

I saw this one yesterday in the window. It looked in excellent condition. Thought £2,500 was a bit steep but I presume they would discount. The prices of the watches in the Argyll arcade are a joke.

My last Omega and easily the best one I've owned, sadly on Sc due to a consolidation of the collection.
Grade 5 ti case and DIAL! Dial us bead blasted and is a great effect that changes shade in the light. The red accents really pop and the cereamic bezel with its polished numerals is a work of art, depending on the light they can be almost invisible to diamond like shine.
A fantastic piece, shame the RRP was £5000!
I've never seen another in the wild?

The thing I love about Omega is the variety of watches in their back catalogue as well as a strong current brand.

    Here are mine:

    Thanks!

The Speedy was worn when my first born arrived last month so it will get locked away for him till he's 21. So thinking I might grab a 1957 broad arrow in its place? Not sure yet.

Very usable piece, more so IMO than the MW, here's mine:

Edit: oops I already posted this on p1! Sorry for the deja vu.

What are the 50th anniversary GMT's like to wear?

Is the black and white bezel a bit blingy?

Saw the ceramic one at the weekend and it's awful. Far too bright and contrasty.

    Had 7 of them :

My first was the Sochi Plant Ocean LE

but found it too big, so flipped it and bought the GMT Goodplanet :

Then flipped for a 42mm Planet Ocean :

Next up was the Seamaster 300 Spectre LE :

And then back to a GMT Goodplanet :

    Then my first Speedmaster, a 57 :

Finally, and my current Omega, my DSOTM :
