Good idea.
I love that model, I've had a couple of that variant and they wear amazingly well.
Then we can keep contents of certain brands going in the same threads, rather than 101 threads on a similar vein.
Also did Haywood mention Omega AD's were recently made aware of an imminent price rise?
It's just a matter of time...
It's an old picture, but very fond of my PO....

Thanks. It is actually a very cheap silicone rubber curved end strap from Cousins. They are only a few quid but are a bit thin and insubstantial next the official Omega rubber offerings. To be honest I am not all that enamoured with it and it will be swapped for something in buffalo leather before too long. They are of course about £120 cheaper than Omega's though so are worth a try. Cousins do some very nice and very cheap straps and are definitely worth a look.

One of a few, but quite the favourite.
I'll join in - here's my Globemaster. Only owned it a month or so but I'm loving the blue and the fluted bezel catches the light really nicely in real life (hard to capture on iPhone camera!)

The Globemaster looks great. I picked one up last month, and I'm very pleased with it. I just found the 8500 Aqua-Terra missing something compared to the previous model, and there are few of the regular Constellation range that appealed to me, until the Globemaster - dressy as needed, and 100m WR. At last a true alternative to the Date-Just from Omega in a nice wearable size. It could easily become a daily wearer for me.
It's just a matter of time...
I briefly had a PO a few years back and loved everything about it except the heft :(
But I still enjoy my Speedy,
and have one of these coming in as my next watch :)

My 120m, certainly a great entry into Omega ownership....
A good mix of smart/casual on the RIOS Shark Skin strap
And on a Nato in its natural enviroment....
I also had an AT Quartz (38.5mm), before the 120m but found it a bit too chunky, lovely detail on the dial though

My first and only Omega;
When it arrived I found the timekeeping out so sent it for a full service and a tidy up, whilst it was away I sourced a new bezel assembly and it arrived back a different watch and running within 2 seconds per day
The brilliant part is I still wear it and enjoy it without worry, its the most comfortable watch I have owned and feels so well put together, I also think that it is a very interesting watch with its wave dial, skeleton hands, domed crystal and the bracelet is not the common oyster type seen on most other dive watches,
Safe to say I have bonded with this one, and it didnt break the bank
A few pics along the journey
When it arrived;
New bezel sourced;
Away at Genesis;
And back on the wrist;
Hope nobody minds me posting all this in this thread, hopefully some will find it interesting that you can pick up and enjoy 15-20yr old watches
And I didnt mention 'Bond' once :)

I find these two to be a couple of the most attractive modern speedys...

It is a Schumacher The Legend. It belongs to a very close friend! He only got it after I pressured him into making an offer! It really is a beauty..
the movement is a 3301.. not the most bulletproof one but an automatic, column wheel chrono non the less

I like many Omegas (not all, but more than I don't I think)
My current ones :
And a couple I've owned, but parted with :

I now understand Scott's thread after seeing the pics!
My latest arrival:
An unworn AT that was an impulse buy as a potential one watch. Not sure I'm ready for that yet so potentially surplus and off to a dealer in 14 days although I'm increasingly tempted to try it as it is lovely and the annual calendar function is handy:
Love this for its quirkiness:
