So many dial colours black to light blue.
It's ticking a lot of boxes for me and could be my goto summer watch.
Really want to get a bit of nice sunshine to try it out.![]()
I had hoped someone from here had bought the Arktis that was on eBay recently. I think it sold for just over £1700

I’m intrigued by this model. A couple of reviewers have passed comment that the internal bezel operating crown can be easily knocked. I’d imagine if this is the case and you’re timing your pie in the oven it could be a bit irritating. How have you found the bezel crown holds up to accidental nudges?

Inspired to put mine on by the one on SC.

Certainly is. I purchased it direct from the sellers web shop though where it was £100 cheaper.

Some new stuff from Sinn this morning
https://www.sinn.de/en/New_Watches.htm
The T50 looks nice but could do with a bit of colour.
Too much for me though and a 30 week wait on release day? Nope
Why does the T50 cost more on a silicon strap than a bracelet?
Really like it but agree with ACG that it needs some colour.
Fair point, perhaps if they had it might explain why they're charging more for it than the ti bracelet.
A titanium bracelet will cost a fair bit more than a bit of rubber.
One thing I would like to see is an improvement on the standard Sinn bracelet clasp. Some form of easy adjust like the new rubber strap clasp would be great. (Although not at the price Sinn are selling it for).
I think the standard clasp works well on the older rattly folded end link bracelets but it’s a travesty on the newer screw link thicker examples.

Just in today. A watch long on my wanted list.![]()

Wanted - Damasko DC57
In a "one watch collection" that would be near the top of the list for me.
Very nice. Good catch Andy.

Great watch, usually leave the UTC hand hidden behind the hour hand on mine.

I understand what you mean Tony. Not the best but having owned a lot of Sinns, they are ok. In a weird way it adds to the tool watch feel, maybe that’s just me. Have never had an issue with one opening etc either. Quality wise, some of the Chinese watches put them to shame but at the end of the day it does the job.
I suppose with what Sinn charge nowadays, it is definitely something they could improve.

It’s fortunate Sinn’s rubber strap and large clasp is almost perfect IMO.
Bargain compared to some
But yes it’s not cheap / offering anything remotely like value for money but since when is this hobby sensible?
Like everything Sinn the prices have jumped huge amounts in the last couple of years. The rubber straps and clasps were reasonable not so long ago.
As an aside
I am looking at the Sinn 3006 as my next purchase but the wait time is eye watering.

One thing I will say, while the quality could be improved I find Sinn clasps as comfortable as any brand out there. That to me counts for a lot. The Tudor BB58 clasp by comparison really dug into my skin and was the primary reason I flipped it.

I agree the Sinn clasps do seem very cheap (I've AliExpress watches with ones which look better made) but they do just work (to borrow a phrase from Apple) and I find Sinn bracelets amongst the most comfortable of any I've tried.
I often swap watches off their bracelets onto leather, but all my Sinns are on their original bracelets.

Breitling Cosmonaute 809 - What's not to like?
I do on my 756 Diapal & will with this too.
I'd never really thought about it but you have a point although the big clasp on my U1 rubber strap which was a recent purchase is very good. The clasps on the H link bracelets are definitely pretty poor.
