Question:
A U50 that's just been delivered has the bezel off by half a click.
Can the screws be backed out on the captive bezel, rotate it slightly and tighten the screws or will it always be off?
Cheers
You might need to reposition the spring but it is possible.

Thank you all I was looking for this one for a long time!
Ordered my first Sinn, a U1 T from Jura on Friday. I was told 2-4 weeks for it to come down from Sinn.
Got an email yesterday, now looking at December. That'll teach me to be particular and go for the fully tegimented version.
😂
Still waiting for my other one! Been about 6 weeks since ordering it!

Very nice! I’m considering an EZM 3 as my next purchase. Any thoughts on pro’s/con’s so far?

Do it, it’s a great watch no can’t think of any cons yet maybe a half link would of suited me just to have the micro adjust on the middle setting
But really nice watch, comfy (had a ezm13 before) so wears similar, really good on straps too. The Sinn rubber strap is super comfy (I’ve got one coming from Sinn)
There are deals to be had also of buying new
Really wish I hadn’t sold my ezm3.
This’ll do for now though :)
UX.
Oil filled case, thermo compensated quartz good for 15 secs per year I think while sitting 5000m underwater (but the case is good for 12km apparently)
It's probably the coolest watch I've owned
Not mine sadly, but tasty (if you like green dials and panda chronos as much as I do) 100-piece special edition 358 with Chronos magazine -
Eu3,090
For the photo base. This bizarre new limited edition Sinn at around the £2200 mark.

That's correct.
The Japanese Defense Force just retired their last F4 Phantoms in 2020.
Translated from the official Sinn Japan site:
The "556.F-4" is a pilot watch made in honor of the retirement of the jet fighter F-4 Phantom II, nicknamed "Phantom", in Japan.
The F-4 Phantom II fighter, which is popular with aviation fans, has been operated by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force under the name of F-4EJ in Japan since 1971, but in December 2020, the last fighter unit of the phantom, Hyakuri. The 301st Squadron at Sato Base has completed the operation of the F-4 Phantom. On March 17, 2021, the Gifu Air Development and Test Wing completed the last flight, and all F-4s were completely retired in Japan.
This model is based on 556.A, and the unit marks of eight squadrons equipped with this F-4 phantom by the Air Self-Defense Force are lined up on the dial, and the rotor seen from the see-through back is the official character of the phantom. It is marked with "Spook". Also included is a helmet back with a patch of eight squadron unit marks and an integration cow leather as well as a dial. It is a limited edition of only 100 watches with phantom elements studded everywhere in the excellent functionality as a pilot watch that meets the high demands of professionals.
With eight squadrons on the dialLocation base when equipped with F-4
* 1 o'clock position: 301st Squadron (Hyakuri base, Ibaraki, Nittahara base, Miyazaki, Hyakuri base, Ibaraki)

* 4 o'clock position: 8th Squadron (Misawa base, Aomori)
* 5 o'clock position: 305th Squadron (Hyakuri base, Ibaraki)
* 7 o'clock position: 306th Squadron (Komatsu Base, Ishikawa)

I presume that Japan is a reasonably important market for Sinn? There are usually quite a few from there listed on Chrono24.

Woody Woodpecker is the new Snoopy.
Got this on today, making me think I don’t need the ezm3
