Does anyone here have a 144. Considering that as a next purchase but interested to here of any experience, and maybe non-web, real-world photos.

I have just posted this on another thread but I changed back to the bracket for the first time in years a few days ago. It’s a bit bling for me but I will live with it for a while.

Well it's taken an awful long time to track one of these down...been a grail since I first saw one in Stuttgart in 2008, sold in pretty limited numbers ,
this model is the 103 Ti Ar UTC. Has the ubiquitous 7750 with GMT function, quick date set titanium case on full titanium bracelet too.
I'd even approached Sinn to build me a new one, and they offered a new titanium diapal watch with this dial if I wanted it, nice helpful folks there.
was bought from abroad via ebay, from a very nice chap in Poland, not something I'd normally take a chance on but had a good dialogue with a genuine watch enthusiast and the watch is functioning perfectly with no signs of moisture, as witnessed by the dessicant capsule
a very chuffed Goat this morning!

    Lovely watch, well done.
I am slightly intrigued by the lume pip.
I do not recall Sinn using those pips, that sit proud of the bezel. And if I am 100% honest, I am not sure it looks quite in the middle, although this may be a fault of light from the right, shadow on the left and a hair on the edge of the triangle.
Is it original, or has the previous owner added it?
    Dave

  29. #629
^^^the dial pip is unusual for Sinn but is as it appears on the Archive page on the Sinn website -it looks a bit off in the photo but fine when handled.
In fact on checking the Sinn site, this does seem a little “proud” may be a replacement I guess.

Pretty sure I was looking at that same watch and giving it serious consideration.
Think the description was a bit under whelming so didn't go back to it.

Fantastic watch and congrats on picking it up.
A question on the GMT / UTC function - is it 12 hrs or 24 hrs? I.e. does it function as another hour hand or is it a traditional GMT hand that goes around the dial once in 24hrs?

I wasn’t sure about the 103 at first,I was worried about acrylic, but it’s grown on me and has a certain warmth about it.

Pros and cons with everything I guess - the sort of clout that would shatter sapphire can leave just a minor mark that can be polished-out of acrylic fairly easily.

Sinn 203 Arktis taken in trade in January.

I’m not really wearing my watches at the mo. So was considering trading it...

... but now it's on the wrist, I am not so sure definitely not.

Just bought this 556a this week from Neil at Chronomaster to replace my sub daily wearer as an on site carpenter. The Sub which now is being retired due to the cost of replacing it etc. It's had over 10yrs on site. Just ordered a Sinn 104i from Neil today also. He's a top bloke and very good prices. 

Think I need to invest in a new phone looking at the picture quality or lack of.

It’s a 12hr function I believe, just lags or leads the hour hand by whatever off set you put on it
But you’ve made me doubt myself now!
If different, I will get back to you

Thanks, was always curious about this.
If you’re correct, then that’s a fairly uncommon set up Sinn have gone for - most brands seem to use a standard 24hr GMT hand.

Trying-out an open-weave "Perlon" on which I've replaced the nasty, cheap-ass tinned-brass buckle with a nice solid SS one + an extra leather keeper. Surprised how well it looks and wears.
