I got this back from Sinn 3 or 4 weeks ago, but I just can't live with it any longer and have emailed them. They had it for 14 weeks! How did it get through quality control? Unfortunately, this is the second watch I have had to send back to Sinn. Not impressed.

Sorry but what's wrong with it? I can't see anything untoward

The bezel? It wasn't misaligned when I sent it to them. I've been looking at it for weeks and it is definitely off. Admittedly, my photography skills are rubbish (it's a family joke that I can't get anything in focus even with autofocus)

I've not owned (yet!) an EZM-series watch, but notice the bezels have a small number of easily-accessed screws holding them in place - it thus seems that it might be a fairly simple matter to loosen (not completely undo) these screws and adjust alignment yourself: save that long, slow, worrying trip back to a Sinn service centre. Perhaps EZM owners have tried this and can comment?

Not on the EZM2, no screws there, which makes me think they put the insert back in wrong. I'm not sure why they took it out in the first place as it was perfect before and I'd asked them not to replace anything like hands, dial etc.
Absolutely getting you on the sending it back problem - I get incredibly nervous when any of mine are in transit and the thought of it being gone for weeks yet again does not fill me with joy

Ah, shame, and a poor result all round, no question - really not the sort of thing that should be overlooked.
I wonder if any of our forum independent watchmakers could help?

This does not get worn a great deal but when I do I remember why I bought it. It’s a great watch.

To console myself at having to send the EZM2 back (well, not quite back, to TWR anyway) to get the insert realigned, I picked this up off the 'bay. Arrived this morning and I'm pretty chuffed at its condition. Loving the creamy markers and can never get enough titanium.

A Sinn 556a that I used to own, looked good on a nato strap but sold it since I didn't get along with the big indices.

Sinn's clasps for their rubber divers straps have no micro adjustment. You can't cut the rubber longer, only shorter. Once the straps are cut to size, that's it. My wrists expand in summer and I have to lengthen my straps by up to 5mm. I can't see the logic in having winter and summer rubbers for the same watch. I end up putting the watch on the bracelet or generic strap and the rubber never sees the light of day again. So most of the Sinn sales on SC result in having to think about purchasing new rubber and they aren't cheap - there have been 2 on SC recently and the decider whether to buy them or not came down to the added cost & hassle of potentially buying new rubbers. Why no micro-adjustment, Sinn?

OK, I think I've answered my own question. Shame really as I would really like a Sinn diver on OEM rubber.

Recently acquired. Thought it would wear a bit big at 43mm but it works really well.

Never mind the summer, my wrists shrink throughout the day such that a watch that is perfectly sized first thing in the morning is too lose by midday. Microadjustments are now essential for me on any bracelet or cut rubber such as on the U50. Shame because I'd really like one. I may look took get one on non oem rubber as they get older and cheaper to buy.

Strapcode make aftermarket clasps with various adjustment options, this one has on-the-fly adjustment built-in.

I bought one of these but find it a brick of a thing. Decided not to fit it.

Mind you. That was the 22mm version. Was about to say that maybe the smaller ones weren't quite so big, but stopped myself just in time. :)

It certainly looks robust - then again the same is true for the bigger clasp Sinn supply for the U-watches - albeit some people seem to find that a bit much, too.

That could be just the job. Now, if they made that in titanium...

    I have a 20mm on my MM300. It is still a slab.

Very. Obviously the bezel on these are screwed on. Decent screwdriver and it’s straightforward enough.

I have reduced my Sinn quite a bit.

Flipped yesterday my 156 for this:

Shot taken 5min after the flip.

    Current Sinn pair

I have a 144 Lufthansa waiting for repairs. Maybe it'll be next summer's watch?

I have to say I really prefer the look of all these with black bezels (the UX, the 103, the U50). So much nicer (for me) to have the contrast with the case.

Agree completely, black bezel and a red rubber is the perfect combo & how my UX sits all the time. Must try the bracelet at some point!

Bought this in from the US last month.
It's a Sinn U2W, limited edition run of 150 pieces split between the US and Japan.

Very legible, comfortable and the teenager in me giggles everytime I look at my wrist because it's serial is 069/150 :D
Absolutely childish, I know but it keeps me amused albeit puerile.

I had one back in the early 2000s but had to sell it. Got this piece a couple of months back been with TWR for service for over 6 weeks and now it's back. Its on my favourite military type strap by gasgasbones. Got 5 in different colours.
