Thread: Show your Sinn watches & TZ-UK Sinn photo base

This is my little Sinn gang.

The first one in was the U1T that I alternately wear on the bracelet or on rubber. A big beast of a watch. 2nd up was the 556i that's normally on the bracelet but I have the rubber band for that one too. I just love the legibility on this one. The 3rd one I got is a rather special manual wind Lemania (same as Speedy Pro) 903 ST GL. Most recent addition was the 356 UTC that I got from Gav a couple of weeks ago. I'll no doubt end up with more as some point as there are so many Sinn on my list :-)

How do you find the U1 wears size wise? Compared to the 656?

I’ve always wanted to try one but when I get tempted to purchase I remember my weedy 6.75inch wrist and bail on the idea.

That was my initial thought to be honest. I am in a similar boat wrist wise but in all honesty it wears nice.
It does have 'presence' and some weight about it! There is not a lot of difference lug to lug to your 358 (48mm vs 50mm).
The shape of the lugs also make it seem smaller than it measures. I like it.

It's the opposite with the 656, I could easily wear that with my suit etc. Very classic and small to modern standards.
I will save the U1 for the weekends or possibly a zombie apocalypse!

Nice. I do want to try a U1 eventually. Historically preferred the steel bezel but now I like the SDR more.

I love my 956 on a rally strap. The brown is good but it looks awesome on a black one, the screen colour really pops against it. However it’s in transit being fixed..... I’m a clumsy bastard....

This is how my poor 956 looks right now.... missing a pusher with a huge gash in the crystal :-(. Sad times.

    Really? You've kept that quiet

Ì must say that I always feel a little thrill when I look at mine, it feels a bit of a privilege to wear it.

Still absolutely rocking this bad boy. A bavarian unicorn once told me they made a few in titanium. I think I would retire if I got my greasy little paws on one of those naughty little puppies.

Still thoroughly enjoying my 903, although it is very hard to get a photo that captures the blue of the dial.

White 104. Glad I kept hold of this and didn’t flip. Starting to appreciate what a fantastic watch it is.

it is indeed. the 40th anniversary 144 st s jubilee which I bought new sourced from a place in Leeds direct from Sinn, and allegedly long after they'd sold all of the 300 run. I like it a lot.

Picked up this battered 140 from SC a while back with the intention of not worrying about wearing it or getting it sympathetically restored.
It needs a service so I'm committed to the restoration route but struggling to get the case lapped in the UK. No rush though....

Not as popular as the UX or U1 but it’s the best of both models combined IMHO....
