Anyone had a problem getting a thicker nato/zulu to fit a U1? I've used Eddie's Rhino two ring straps for years, but they're too thick to get inbetween the spring bar and case witching feeling like the pressure might eventually damage the spring bars or lug holes.

Currently have the U1 Chronissimo, which I really like, but Zulu's are my personal favourite and I think Eddie's grey two ring Rhino would suit the U1 perfectly.

Yes...I've only managed to use the thinner style nato on the U1.

Ah, thanks for the help. I’d not a big fan of leather straps usually, but I like the Di Modell Chronissimo.

It would be nice to be able to get it onto one of Eddie’s zulus though.

Thanks, yeah, I was vaguely aware of them when they were released then forgot all about them until this one popped up. Case is a nice size - not too deep which is a bugbear of mine with some Sinn, and the AR is the best of any watch I’ve owned.

    Something seen very rarely

    Sinn U 212 SDR

  14. #1164
    That’s a nice one ☝🏻

  15. #1165
    I must admit I ummed and ahhed a few times between the U1 and U212. But hey, a U1's a U1 right?

Tutonic minimalism at its best. Very nice.

I really wanted an EZM2 but struggled to find one, eventually I bought an M3 which has the numbers on the dial which I thought would spoil it for me but doesn't.

Just like the above, mine also landed today. These are a 100 limited run collab between Sinn and the Sinn fan forum.

    Extra features.
Fully bead blasted (opposed to the usual polish on the 104).
    Orange tipped seconds hand.
    Numbered rotor.

Very pleased I picked one up.

The Sinn family has grown again, and then there were three. The 144 arrived today.

I love my 144. Have never seen another on my travels.

All you need Dave is an 857 UTC to compliment the collection further

Loving the EZM-2. Got a di-Modell sharkskin with red stitching.
I am on the lookout for an EZM-2 bracelet, the factory are out! Anyone know of a source?

I have just come out of meeting and for the first time ever one of the chaps I was meeting was wearing a Sinn. A fully black 900. What did I have on….

    A bleeding cr@py Tudor Pelagos!

I let the WIS side down wearing something so mainstream :(

    What are your thoughts?
I have 2 of them I rate them that highly. They are better than the Navitimer for me. The newer versions have a better column wheel movement as well. My only gripe is the bracelet, I can never get a good fit and the clasp is the most uncomfortable I have ever tried.

So far so good. The blue dial is mesmerising. It's busy but purposefully so. I need to get to grips with the slide-rule.

I bought on the strap as I'm not keen on the bracelet it comes on.

It's quite tall but wears fine.

I've always thought that you get a lot for your money with Sinn. I can feel the difference on the chrono between it and the 144. The column-wheel seems a step up.

I also believe its better than the Navitimer. Completely subjective, but I think it's much better value. I'm perfectly fine with the prospect that some will just see it as a homage. I know what the history is and what I've got. That's all that is important to me.

I bought it from Francis and Gaye. Got reasonable discount. I've heard elsewhere that there may be a price rise coming.

I'll have to see how I get on with it over the next few months...

Currently I feel my modest collection is well balanced. I'm sure that won't last!

It’s the Sinn canvas / leather backed strap in Sand.

I like it a lot, but pondering if I should bother with a deployant or not.

Sinn 103 St Ty, late 2000s

Believe this was a (short-lived) attempt by Sinn to “dress up” the 103 series.

Really very pleased with my newly acquired U2. It is a substantial piece in both size and heft, but does not I feel wear as large as it’s 44mm diameter suggests. On my 7.2” wrist it is comfortable but with great presence. Timed over the first 24 hours and it has neither gained or lost a single second. Impressed.

Nice pic of a handsome watch. It's oft puzzled me why we don't see this model more often - enjoy!
