I'm considering putting my BLNR on a jubilee because I think it looks better but I'm quite new to this game and haven't a clue where to begin sourcing the right genuine Rolex bits.
Is it just me that thinks this combination looks good compared to the oyster bracelet?
Can anyone help point me in the right direction with regards to what this might cost and how I'd go about it?
Apologies if this subject has been visited before

I think it could work. The previous GMT models came on a Jubilee as an option so why not. As it's a new watch I think parts may be hard to get hold of. Also Rolex won't help as it would be a deviation from original spec.
Just my 2 cents, IMHO the watch looks, shall we say, a little 'portly', and the jubilee a little too dainty for it. The oyster seems somehow better proportioned for it. Having said that, I don't care for the polished centre links of the supplied oyster.
Looks great IMO.
Very nice, I love it. A nice modern nod to the GMT's of the past!
I opened the thread expecting to hate it but I like it!
I think it looks great. I believe from what I've read but stand to be corrected by those with better knowledge are that the best bracelet for it is the super jubilee. Which is either 63200 or 63600.
They don't seem to pop for sale here very often. They sell a lot more commonly on the Rolex forum where they are about $1500-2000 depending on worn to new. I'm not sure how much or if Rolex in the uk will sell them to you for the GMT. I've got an unworn one to try on my Daytona but haven't got round to trying it yet as like the oyster.
I'm actually looking for a watch on jubilee to add to my collection and unfortunately all of Rolex current offerings don't hit the mark so I'm hoping for a SS DJ41 to land this year if not I may go the route of adding a jubilee to another watch.
Or hit the jack pot and secure the funds for a DD40.
I love it.
I have a Jubilee on my Date Just and would love to have one for my GMT2.
I've seen numerous members off other forums make the swtich and I think it looks great.
It looks brilliant and is a great improvement over the Oyster.

I like that, makes me miss by BLNR.
I love jubilees. Every Rolex in Glasgow mappin and Webb seemed to have one when I stared drooling through the window at the glowing tantalising display as a yearning 15 year old. This looks perfect on your watch.

I like that a lot - reduces the shiny effect of the PCLs I think.
I think the Jubilee is a great bracelet full stop, so I have to agree with you OP. I bought my first Tag Heuer on a jubilee (a Tag copy of course) partly because of the look of the bracelet.
Each to their own, but I prefer the Oyster.

Yep, it's in the eye of the beholder etc, but I dislike the usual PCLs and think that looks even fussier and therefore worse.
Jubilee is nice but it doesn't have microadjust right?

Sorry, just awful.
When you look long into an abyss, the abyss looks long into you.........
Looks wrong to me, but I don`t think the old GMTs looked 'right' on a Jubilee either. The current thicker Jubilee may work a bit better, but it wouldn`t be my choice.
The bracelet won`t be cheap to buy, you could buy another decent watch for what it'll cost.
Paul
Doesn't work for me. I think the head is too heavy for the jubilee. It's unbalanced now.
I thought it looked and wore fine when I tried it:
I prefer Oyster bracelets in general, but the Jubilee is nice to have as an alternate. It fits on a lot of other models, too. As they also seem to keep their value, I can't really see a downside to giving it a go if sourced for a fair price.
Not my image - But I think they look great
I like it. I also like the oyster. What's the worst that can happen, you change it over every once in a while?
"A man of little significance"
I love it.
I have a GMT Master 1 and Datejust on jubilee bracelets and they just look right and are sooo comfortable.
If you like it and find it comfortable then go for it. I can't imagine you'd be disappointed.
A different look for sure and. It necessarily bad.
Funnily enough I tried a 14060M on a jubilee and it looked rubbish.
When it came to my GMT2C I actually brush-finished the PCL (which I think works fantastically well) but those pics of the BLNR on a jubilee look really great IMO.
I guess we are all different in our taste, so FWIW I really like it.
Having said that, I'm not sure whether it would be worth the cost of the bracelet and end pieces, but that's another story.
Then....... I have a ss Daytona and it got me thinking.....
If I were to get a jubilee bracelet to fit my GMT I could try it on my Daytona too:
May have to start looking!!

I think it looks BETTER than the oyster
(Poorer image because it's mine)

Jubilee bracelets are more comfortable that Oysters and they don't show scratches the same. For those reasons I seem to wear my Datejust with Jubilee far more than my Explorer on a Oyster.
Not for me, nice watch though, good to see members trying different things though, I have seen one on a blue rubber b strap which I thought looked pretty

I think the Jubilee would look better on the two watches, if the polished links were brushed/matte.
But I still prefer the Oyster bracelet. In fact I prefer the Oyster bracelet with a small mod. I prefer brushed center links just like on the Sub bracelet and just like it used to be on the 16710.

Great, anyone think I could walk into my local AD and order the right parts?

The Jubilee on BLNR or Daytona is not for me, but if you like it, go for it.
The BLNR with the original bracelet with brushed centre links however does appeal.
Really like that combination
