    Charity raffle - Oris 65

While reading Eddie's recent post (http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.ph...-December-2016), I realised that I have not proposed another raffle for a while now.

This was the 1st one: http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.ph...ghlight=skx007 Went much better than expected!

This was the 2nd one: http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.ph...ighlight=prs22 Also a great outcome!

So here's the offer for the 3rd raffle, a rather nice one, I dare say:

It's the same rules - you decide the amount of money and the destination (of course, Eddie's charity would be a great choice, but it's strictly up to you). You don't have to make any proof of payment, I don't expect anybody to cheat on this. If any would do, winning the watch or not would still mean a huge load of nasty, smelly karma :D

Just post on this thread if you participate in this raffle. All who do will have an equal chance to win the lovely Oris 65. As in the previous 2 raffles, my daughter Katia will draw the lucky winner. She grew up in the mean time, but I think we can still rely on her objectiveness in all matters related to horology (I actually asked her yesterday if she'd like to learn about watches... to no surprise, she said rather bluntly 'I'm not interested at all'. Sigh).

The raffle will take place on Friday, December 16, at around 9PM UK time. I know it's a bit of a long period, but I suppose there are some forum members who only visit it once in a while.

    Cheers,
    Christian

PS: I post this in Watch Talk as it is accesible to more members. The more, the merrier :)

Now that is a heck of a generous gesture! That's prompted me to go to the fundraiser, anyway, so donation made.

    Wow, nice gesture!

My donation is going towards local children's clinic, where we already have a charity in Finnish watchgroup. We have raised over 10 000 euros already, and lots of watches for little patients.

Many thanks mates for the great response!

And because I'm a part-time idiot (especially when hit by a nasty virosis), I completely forgot to put the raffle date in the original post... now added :)

    Cheers,
    Christian

Thanks Dave! But when it comes to generosity, we're playing in very different leagues :) There's this legend of a Rolex Explorer II which was once offered for a raffle...
