Small budget - watch from Goldsmiths - help needed

Not norm budgets I know, but I have a £250 voucher to spend in Goldsmiths, and need to spend it. Happy to add upto £200 extra but any suggestions.

    1) no bigger than 40mm
    2) wear anywhere i.e. Water proof
    3) not too garish
    4) resale not too bad (less important)

    Any suggestions ?

I was in the same position which is why I joined this fine forum.

Check their Seiko range out. They only do them online though so you can't look instore. I remember a really nice slim Hamilton they had in Leeds. I didn't have money to add to he vouchers though so I missed out. Love my Seiko though for £250.

Tissot PRC200 was always one I liked. I think that's in your budget

There's a 40mm Hamilton Jazzmaster white dial on their site with £150 off bringing it within your +&200 wiggle room.

This is what I got. I learned that the pictures on their website really don't do the watches any favours. Plus it was £250 when I got it in March I'm sure!

Wow. I better measure my wrists. I always assumed I had girly wrists! I'm a beast. It really isn't very big on my wrist.

What style are you after? I know you said wear anywhere but do you have a preference.

http://www.goldsmiths.co.uk/Hamilton...b4&fo_s=slisys Is the one I wanted but was £350. Now it's a steal at £245. Really handsome watch in the flesh. And yes 42 but that's nothing!

I would like a sporty/tag/divers type watch I think - kinda like one you sent but smaller

Not a great deal of choice there, how about a Citizen, 41mm mind, BN0000-04H.

Just looked at it on Yorkshire watches as they have better pictures. The bezel is a lot shinier than the Goldsmiths pictures show. It's also a lot cheaper!

    Nice looker though.

Yeah, that's trouble with having vouchers, but this could work

Definitely. Exactly the same issue I had.

It's a nice looking watch, the pictures on YW are better though. You can order into a Goldmsiths store to check out in the flesh. Or find another watch shop and try some on. It may be a bit cheeky as you have no intention of buying from them but it's an option.

Seiko are most likely king of the price range. Plus they have so many styles there will be something for you they do

No problem. I couldn't believe how poor the pictures are on Goldsmiths. They do no favours to the watches at all.
