Getting one of these is even harder than getting a SS Daytona!!
    Yes I did.

    Boring.

It’s a shame the defacto “official” Patek thread on this forum was started by a fantasist to get a rise out of other members.

Never mind, time to figure out whether the ignore function is available on TZ!

George you seem desperate to keep reviving this thread fella.

If you’re going to keep doing it, as it’s a shame you haven’t any watches you can post pictures of, try and at least say something interesting.

He may not be saying much interesting, but I find his motivations quite fascinating. Is he a fantasist or a comedy genius? Even his comment on getting something gold after someone said he was spouting solid gold bull...

Either way, this thread shows no signs of dying.

Bit more than that George - but I so like to get down with zi kids man. Wateva.

Just having fun while I wait for my commute train to leave late.

Seriously - where did your 5167 go? No pictures, nothing. People are beginning to wonder.

George you didn’t go by Richard Dower on any other forums by any chance? The posting style along with the phantom collections are eerily similar.

Well in this very thread you could not provide wrist shots of your 5167 Aquanaut as it went straight into the safe

However on the Daytona thread you said

I also really struggled to find the oysterflex comfortable - after my 5167a purchase no other rubber strap is good anymore
    Getting comical :)

Can this thread be closed now? It's funny obviously, but in a bit of a sad way.

Please, please 100% can this thread be CLOSED!!!

I have checked it out numerous times, on the hope that the OP would show substantial evidence - wrist shot that he has got any Patek.

But now he is so full of sh!! that it is no longer funny.

He even has the cheek to slag off Rolex/Tudor over the 58.

No doubt that will be his next challenge!

Tsk man! How dare you ask!!!! George has REPEATEDLY told us it's in the safe, be grateful he's managed to remember the safe combo to take it out and grace us with such outstanding images.

On a serious note George, I hope you wear it, life is too short and all that jazz.

I will. I promise. I hope nerds don’t call me a liar anymore. They are the one’s spreading fake news. I was honest from the very beginning. This is my thread. I was looking for help. The forum kindly offered it to me for which I am grateful for. But now please no annoying lies anymore. Full stop.

How much is a 5167 on the second hand market? 13750 is list. Is 16-17k the going rate for second hand private sale?

Trying to see if a WTB is worth my while.

Unless George can get me one that is.

  45. #1045
£14.5k is list now. I’ve no problem buying a pre-owned watch in general but with the Nautilus / Aquanaut / Royal Oak I’d only buy new as I wouldn’t want anything that hadn’t been polished by the manufacturer, particularly when the premiums are so high now for pre-owned ones.

Didn’t realise they were 14.5. How much preowned? Watchfinder are 21.5k +.

I sold mine last week for £15,750.
I was offered between £14,500 and £16,500 selling to the trade, and they appear to be between £18-24k online

That sounds about right. Prices seem to have jumped 4K in the last 6 months....
