Hi, I have a Samsung ue55tu8500u tv, the last few days it's being switching off and the Tizen logo has appeared.
After pressing the power button on the remote a few times it comes on an off a few times and eventually stays on.
I've done the normal unplug it for 60 seconds and held the power button in on the tv which helps but it happens again the next evening.
Any ideas folks?

Probably but more hassle than worth, get on Avs forum more knowledgeable on there maybe get pointers

Good excuse to get a new tv.
I've always had Samsung,
Some good and bad reviews on hisense,
Any views on them?
I see them in the same camp as Matsui / Amstrad back in the day, built for non-discerning consumers. May be way off the mark, but I buy a tv every 8yrs or so & tend to spend £1k on the previous years model to get better value.

I have one in my gym and it's good for the price. It happens to be one of the ones they did with the built in Roku platform, so ideal for streaming
