    New Lab puppy comes home!

This little fella (George) joined us tonight. He's 8 weeks old. Our other dog (Boris) is in a state of shock! George is settling in quickly but is clearly missing his mum and dad and 3 sister. Poor lad.

Lovely looking little fella. We have an 8 month old Boxer now, and missing her not being quite so small and innocent!

He's a cracker. Some sleepless nights and a few accidents to clean up but all worth it.
It's the best welcome I get when I come home from work!

    Lovely looking dog.

Oh, and you don't seem to be wearing a watch in that photo. Sort it out. :)

I had a feeling I wouldn't get away with that. I took it off because the dog kept licking it! 😱

Did anyone trade a puppy for a watch on SC?

A beautiful little lad. We had a black Lab Puppy 40 years ago and lost him, miss him to this day. Since then had Golden Retrievers, a Yorkie and a Border Terrier.
Got a rescue Yorkshire Terrier at the moment also called George! You will have many years of happiness and love from that little fella, good luck, and enjoy.

Thought you'd rescued a dog from a research lab.

    A belter!

He's absolutely gorgeous!! Reminds me a bit of the look on our English Springer Spaniel's face when my parents first brought him home and I held him (I was only about 10 at the time). No one who isn't a dog lover can truly understand the bond between dogs and their owners, or should I say family, or the unconditional love that a dog can give.

    Congratulations David, lovely dog.
Ps you can get waterproof watches now if he carries on licking them!
