Looked at it for about 4 seconds and decided i cant be bothered.
I'm interested to know how many people can read this watch at first glance?

It took me a good ninety seconds to work out which hand did what...
Looked at it for about 4 seconds and decided i cant be bothered.
Seems reasonably obvious but completely pointless to me!
Well it's clearly... erm... 5 to 6... and 17.
Pointless, like all Seven Friday watches. And ugly.
I just don't understand these watches, why have a watch that's so difficult to tell the time on? I understand it gets easier when you get used to it but why?
I must admit I often like 'different' watches, but Seven Fridays just seem obtuse...
M.
They are like the bargain basement version of Urwerk.
The designs always strike me as very influenced by IKEPOD watches - the Marc Newson designed ones - but without any of the legibility of the originals.
By the time i manage to work it out, i probably wont need to know what time it is anymore. These are just not for me, i dont need to solve a puzzle or a riddle to tell the time.
I would be more inclined to hit it with a hammer such would be my irritation
I can tell the date is the 29th but that's about as much help as I can be as that took a few seconds to pick out of the background.

I will take a stab at 6:56ish but its clearly not really made for telling the time more of a gentleman's wrist mounted puzzle.
10:10 pm at a guess but normal hands at 10 10 look much better. It's design and uniqueness just for the hell of it, think the company forgot what the main purpose of a watch is!
DOH! Just realised that the first pic is at 5:56 ish. With the hour hand at 6 or 18 and the minute hand at 45 it would totally obscure the hour hand unless you can see bits through the cut out.

I have no trouble reading it.
It says "Hey Dickhead, you're a zany free spirit aren't you? Buy me and impress your dickhead friends."
At over £1k I can't see how, even with 7 billion people in the world, watches like this sell enough volume to make a profit. Who pays that much for a watch that's hard to use and, in my opinion, has crossed the line between distinctive and ugly...

I have enough complication in my life with women.
Is it 7 on a Friday?
Took me a few seconds to suss it out, but would I buy one.........not in a months of Sundays. Horrible monstrosity.
At a guess, I think the twenty four hour dial tells you what hour it is (making it 3) and the centre hand tells you the minute... so that makes it 10 to 3?
I could be entirely wrong though... and god knows what the other dial in the bottom corner is.
As I get older and my eyesight gets worse I have enough trouble telling the time without my glasses, I don't really want to use my abacus and log tables too.
Not a fan of these.
Not quite sure what time it says.
Half past eyesore?
this one is even better - you have to add up 2 numbers to get the hour and seconds. The time is 5:11:16 on the examples below
Crap. Nothing more, nothing less.
Now that is an ugly watch.
Ugly, and why would you want a watch that didn’t tell the time easily?!
By the time you work out what the time is, it will no longer be the time you wanted to know at the time you first looked at it. So totally useless.
... but it stops those sneaky people from glancing at your watch to find out the time without buying their own watch.
costs approx 1k. I'll take two, please
I sometimes think some watchmakers are trying to reinvent the mousetrap and getting it terribly wrong.
Seven Fridays just seems wrong, all weekdays and no weekends!
My friend lent me one and let’s just say that I feel relieved when I’m finally back to my Panerai
5:56:18 ?
Yes they are a marmite watch, but seem popular in Hong Kong etc. They are making statement watches the maybe appeal to those who would have bought those massive oversize Diesel watches years ago. However if this was a a piece of haute horology costing tens of thousands, I feel it would get more positive comments. You have to hand it to them for making something that is not a sub or generic dive based derivative.
Some watchmakers seem intent on answering questions that nobody is asking.

Skating away on the thin ice of a new day
Seemed relatively simple to tell the time, very similar to a Regulateur with a slight twist on the seconds. I can't say as I'd ever spend my own money on a 7F watch but they aren't as offensive as some and at least try to differentiate themselves from the herd. They are certainly preferable (to me) than some of the multi hundred thousand pound bejeweled monstrosities some 'high end' maunfacturers make.
Owners maybe just check their phone when they need to know the time and only wear the watch to look clever?
One look at these and the question is WHY?

I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.
