Look like very good deals, colour/spec dependent.
It's just a matter of time...

I have never leased so this is just lack of knowledge.

The £500 is their charge for arranging the deal. Some companies include this in the monthly payment making that slightly higher. If you are a personal customer make sure you aren’t looking at the business rates ie before Vat is added.

Almost right. The £500 is presumably the broker's fee for setting up the deal. Its then a simple first month payment of 9x the monthly followed by 23 months @ £221 in this case. With leases there isn't really a 'deposit' to pay, which feels a bit odd tbh; when I took out my last lease it was weeks after the car was delivered before they took any money (other than the broker fee which was £180 in my case).

    @ Brian:

For a Personal Contract Hire (including VAT: the £221 figure excludes it) you pay:

    Arrangement fee = £600

    9 x £265.20 Initial Payment = £2368.80

    23 x £265.20 Monthly Payments = £6099.60

    Total payment over 24 months = £9068.40

Average cost per month over term = £377.85

Happy to be corrected if any figures are incorrect.

You do realise that in years 2 to 6, you’ll have to pay £310 pa RFL due to the list price of the car bring over £40k don’t you?

Same experience. As the lease company owns the car, not the driver, they are responsible for the RFL, so usually pay it. Probably are exceptions.

I guess if you're in a position to pay in real terms £900+ A month for a Tesla the £25 per month extra for the road fund is chump change:)

Thought I'd stumbled onto a belter today. PCP deal of £449 a month for the new Aston Martin Vantage. I'd neglected to spot the £46k deposit required lol

Not a bad deal but being tied into a lease for 4 years is a bit much and that’s a total of £60k which seems like a lot.

There were no good deals on the up! GTi leasing. The original offer was £500 dealer contribution, and VW offered 4.3% on their Solutions PCP.
Then as the waiting list grew to 9 months, the £500 off list vanished, the list price went up by £500 and the finance went to 6.3%.

    That said, I put £1500 down and I pay £250/mnth, 36 months, 10,000/yr. I waited 8months for it

    And its flipping brilliant.

Balloon is something ridiculous like £4000 in 2.5 years, so I know what I'll do.....

Got my wife a great deal on a Seat Ateca from stoneacre Seat.

    1.5 TSi evo FR.

£276 a month on a 6+35. But the gave us a cash back deal so we had a refund cheque for £675.

Plus £17 a month for full maintenance, so all we need to pay for is fuel and insurance.

Pretty cheap and worry free motoring for 3 years.

    Why pay £612 for servicing?
The car comes with 3 yrs full warrant to cover major problems.
First service is usually oil & filter £90, if the car is on a 24 month cycle you won’t need the second?
Last year the Cupra R was available for similar price?

You’re quoting back street garage prices.
Minor seat service is £175 and major is £300. The minor is every 10k isn’t it on Seat’s? Maybe changed to fall in line with others.

Not quite the same as the figures I worked out. I though it was a good deal anyway. Your prices don't include the total peace of mind that we don't have to spend a penny on anything in the 3 years, tyres included. (My wife likes drifting)

    No that's including VAT.

Believe it or not I was slightly miffed as I was only paying 117 a month ( inc VAT ) on a Vauxhall Mokka for her.

Just keep an eye on the select website and they get some extreme deals coming up. You just need to fall right with your upcoming renewal.

My friend has a clio 200 back in the day on lease, he had the full tyre package.
This came in handy as he did most of Renaultsports advertised trackdays :)

    Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake

Hey all, a friend at work just took delivery this week of this absolute cracker. He let me take it for a spin and it's a lovely car. The deal is very good:

Mercedes CLA 220 AMG Line Night Edition 4Matic 5dr Tip Auto
    Initial Rental: £895.28 inc VAT
    Admin fee: £198 inc VAT
    Monthly: £298.43 inc VAT

    48-month term
Petrol, Auto, 4WD, Night Edition means privacy glass, completely black wheels, diamond grille, LED headlights.

I'm seriously considering breaking my current work car scheme lease early and picking this up - even with penalty charges I'll pay less over the term. No affiliation, but thought I'd share in case anyone else is interested. Word of warning - my friends did NOT come with DAB radio included and I think metallic paint is also extra. My friend said company was good to deal with and he negotiated free metallic paint in the end - plus of course the delivery from point of order was inside of 3 weeks.

As opposed to buying it for £39k, losing 60% over four years (£23,400) and then having to find someone to buy it when you want to sell it!

It looks like a no brainer to me

Plus of course, the financing costs unless you’ve paid cash for it and the probable lowball px from the dealer that you’re getting your next car from.
