    Just arranged 3 PCH deals for Discovery Sports in the last week Robert so can certainly help if you like. The Mk 4 (and new Mk 5) won't look value at all compared to the Discovery Sport however. For example;

    * Make/model – New Land Rover Discovery Sport 2.0TD4 180 HSE Black 5 door Automatic with Metallic paint choice

    * Contract - PCH 6+35/8k per annum @ £545.25 inc VAT per month

    Or the SE;

    * Make/model – New Land Rover Discovery Sport 2.0TD4 180 SE 5 door Automatic with solid paint

    * Contract - PCH 6+35/8k per annum @ £439.00 inc VAT per month

It is a lot of wedge, but is a RR Vogue SDV8 worth twice as much? I thought in comparison the Audi better value.

Pretty good deal. Sometimes though these deals can be for really low spec cars. Who is this through?

Quality motor. These figures are very similar to our pcp when we bought our Q7 5 years ago.

Budget motoring, with a new car.

At the other end of the scale from some of the nicer offerings on this thread I wonder if anyone has any ideas for a cheapie. I was looking at something for £100ish a month with an initial deposit of £3-400ish over a 2/3 year period.

I'm thinking for that price a small city car. Not needed for a commute as I ride a scooter to work but occasional motorway usage, mainly to be used for going to the shops . Only two of us, occasionally a few more more for local jaunts out so something with 5 doors would be nice.

Ideally with Bluetooth, electric windows, air con and central locking. Sat nav and parking sensors would be good but unlikely on a car of this size/price.

I like the look of the new(ish) Hyundai I10 but it's coming in a little more than my £100 (ish) limit, any ideas? Thanks in advance....

A VW Up can be had for £99 a month with about a grand deposit as can the Skoda equivalent. Ours can do a crazy 450-500 miles to £40 of petrol and with road tax at £30 it is a very economical second car.

Hyundai Tuscon tends to be great value.

Hyundai Tucson 1.7 CRDi 116 Blue Drive SE Nav

10k miles takes it up to £192 per month personal lease.

Any decent deals on a 911? Also an Audi Q7 for the missus as she's taking her driving test on the 9th May and will be able to drive after then to take our son to nursery

Ryan Q7s are massive, really massive. My brother owns a bodyshop and hates to see them coming in as they barely fit in his spray booth.

They're really nicely proportioned which hides their true size I think.

That said, I really like them.

A mate has an SQ5, you should have a look at those for the Mrs. 300+bhp, and really different from a standard Q5

    Ryan

You will never see any kind of lease deal for a 911 Ryan as that is not the market Porsche are in......as a result there are far better ways to fund that type of purchase. There are no deep cut Q7 deals at all currently as most Audi dealer groups have met their quota's and are quoting long lead times for factory orders.

The VW Touareg (which is of course based on the prior Q7 platform) can be had for some really cracking deals - and the new VW Tiguan is well worth a look if you don't "need" 7 seats that is....

  30. #230
Gareth could you PM me the best Touareg and Tiguan deals on say 10k miles a year?

Is it always on new or can there be cheaper secondhand deals? It's for the wife...so as cheap as poss is preferred 😂!!!

  31. #231
Any particularly good deals on Fiat 500 guys?
Petrol, manual, white pearlescent paint, iPhone integration.

    What van?

    *WRONG THREAD ****

I currently have a RR Sport ad while its lovely - it drinks fuel and is probably overkill for what I need as I dont do many miles 10 to work each day and tend to use it with the seats down to walk the dog or use it to house muddy kit and balls (I coach kids football) and I also do a lot off fishing so ultimately I need the boot space and Im thinking of moving to a van - As it wont need much upkeep and will probably be better long term and offer decent residuals.

I do like the caddy but if any owners have any feedback Im keen to hear your thoughts Im considering the LWB version but any usersd feedback on engine size, model, performance etc.....

    Thanks

Dependant on your mileage Robert, look at the Nissan e-NV200 electric van. The 24kwhr model currently has a range of about 80 miles but the 40kwhr version available early next year will almost double that.

And there's plenty of places to charge whilst you're out and about too if necessary.

Mate of mine has a Q7 and his biggest grumble is the sheer size of them makes them a pig to park in the tiny parking spaces so prevalent in the UK.

    I prefer the 124 spider!

I'd go with the basic rather than Abarth though.
Having said that, one of the wisest things to come out of MLB's mouth on Top Gear was to spend your money on the original 124 spider rather than the new one!

Abarth has 1.4 Turbo, MX5 has normally aspirated engines, comparison of the two "top power" options link above.

    Ach away with ye! 😜😜

The wife’s had one for nearly 7 years now and drives it everywhere and reverse parks it in the supermarket car park spaces that it’ll fit in without hindering anyone else. Never too big.

    It’s just a motor car.

I’ve had one of the new Q7’s for 18 months and it’s very big, comfortable, it’s cuckable, quick and is fine to park. I would struggle to go smaller now.

I have looked at these lease car deals a few times but am always fearful that they are designed to rip you off at the end of the contract with all sorts of made up excessive charges because the car is not in perfect condition.

What is peoples experience in practice ?
If you have a 2 year lease do the suppliers assess the car allowing a reasonable amount of fair wear and tear ?

Choose a lease company who are signed up to Bvrla, and there’s detailed guidance of what is allowable damage and what is not, or if you prefer, what you have to pay for and what you don’t. It’s detail enough to say how many dents/scratches/scuffs are allowed, and exactly what size and depth is allowed.

Great thread. Will keep an eye out for future deals.
Currently own a a class 200d and in two minds weather to hold for another year (4year Mark) or sell and go don the leasing road.
