    That is crazy!

One tiny mistake in some of those sections and you're talking very serious injury or even death...

Nah. I saw at least half a dozen (randomly placed) red crash mats.

Seriously - how did they decide where to put them - have a look.
Bears no relation to speed or danger as far as I can see.

I'm glad I am old, no need to make excuses why I can't do that!

The Go-Pro has made such a massive difference, to be able to be on board with these athletes is just brilliant.

And then afterwards you look at the results and see that that was fifteen seconds slower than the guy who won.... 😮

That looked terrifying in parts. Reminds me a bit of Jeb Corliss and his wing suit. https://youtu.be/TWfph3iNC-k

How can he work out the rate of decent to distance to pass through that clearing THAT close to the ground? A few feet lower and the guy would be dead.

Skill and guesswork. And alas it doesn't always work out. There is a video out there of him and his wingsuit partner (someone incredibly talented) attempting to fly over and under a bridge in tandem. His partner hit the bridge head first and didn't make it. Corliss was hit by the "debris" and didn't fare too well himself, crashing into the mountain.

Awesome video, actually seen it the other day and still not bored of watching it.

Dan is a great rider, in fact the whole family are!

Well, crazy. Having fallen off my tredder at about 10mph on Weds and suffered considerable cuts and bruises I'm amazed. Man's a lunatic and a genius and I take my now scratched helmet off to him.

Dont flick over to RedBull TV then to watch Rampage then. That is even more ridiculous!
