A little out of my comfort zone...........

As it was birthday this week I treated myself to a couple of new watches this month, well no one else us going to buy me watches.

my usual size of choice is in the 40mm - 42mm range but have gone outside my comfort zone both sides with my 2 latest purchases.

36mm in the form of a Explorer 1 and the 45mm Bulova moon watch pushes the boundaries the other side.

Im loving the 14270 on a Nato and have yet to strap on the Bulova, but love the design.

To be honest the pic s deceiving,it's not as big as looks there and the Explorer looks bigger in the pic too.

There's something great about an understated Rolex on a nato.

I was tempted by that Bulova, but thought it might be a bit big for me. I'd be interested to see how you get on with it.
    Happy birthday.

Liking the look of the Bulova but I feel that it would be too big for me to carry off.

Explorer looks good on the green, the other moonwatch does look large there, happy returns.

Love the look of all four. The Bulova looks massive in that company but perhaps OK when being worn?

Nice group shot :) The Explorers always stand out for me as just near perfection in terms of design/function.

I really wanted the Bulova so it's size on release was a disappointment as just too large for me. Great value all things considered.

Nice choices, I also like the look of the Bulova but it might be a little large for me. Happy Birthday!

    Happy Birthday Sir!

I think the Bulova wears about 52mm lug-to-lug (usually a more useful measurement than case size for me, anyway) so it's a significant piece!
