Agree. It's what drew me. This is the perfect everyday beater for me - my style is classic, uncomplicated. Simple things done well.

    The obligatory Mr Blurrycam:

This enamel eats up ambient colour temperature. Under a yellow light it goes distinctly champagne.

Didnt get a pic but there is a hulk in Goldsmithss Leicester at the moment. Unfortunately (not for the buyer) its sold to a gent celebrating a 30th work anniversary! For those passing by its in a case towards the back of the shop. Why not drop in and ask if its for sale like a thousand other people have apparently.....

Same issue with a Batman earlier this year. If youre important enough you can get one for 7.5k, if not feel free to buy a used one from the same AD for 13.5k!

Its a bit of a slap in the face for the average punter isnt it? Grey market tactics right in front of your face at an AD!

Goldsmiths Eldon Sqaure, ask for Michelle. Otherwise Jopsons in Carlisle has a good stock of DJ41 at the moment...

ETA, Joppo does secure international delivery and sells on C24 (will be cheaper going direct though)

Seen this piece. If its a Rhodium dial I would want a Wimbledon. Otherwise, will be trying to look for a blue/black dial.

    Thanks

Another 40mm RG YM on oysterflex in Fraser Hart Westfield Stratford with a WG Sub. Tried on both, YM too small for my tree trunk wrists. WG Sub was beautiful and had me doing man maths. Absolutely beautiful.

Shame they don't negotiate on previous metals anymore as 20-25% might have done it for me. I did ask if they could include anything else at the same time hidden in the safe and I'd have both but no such luck. Maybe one day in duty free.

Seems to be a supply of these at the moment, probably the 28k price tag...that causes a moments hesitation to most!

Agreed, every AD I’ve seen has one in the window.
Will soon hit 30k with price increase which is huge money.

Currently in San Francisco with work - and its the same story as in the UK and EU.

Nothing of interest in SS range - unless Uber blinged stuff floats your boat

Still looking for an Explorer I

I went through Schipol on Sunday evening and in each (newly refurbished in 2019) Gassan Rolex boutique there was a grand total of 2 watches on display in each. Even the guy behind the counter looked embarrassed as i rolled my eyes and walked out.

Well, it's one way of getting a stainless but probably not the best way. I'm sure they'll find you one quickly if you buy the WG. At one point I was offered anything I wanted in 8 days if I bought a YG Sky Dweller as the returns period is 7 days...

I bought two last year. One for me, one for my father in law. Was waiting 13 months for one and about 6 months from the other. The AD who took 6 months were fantastic and it was my first purchase. The one where I waited 13 months I had good previous spend. Last thing I'll ever buy there.

F all in Goldsmiths in Trafford on Sunday. Literally some cabinets were totally empty and the window had a handful of watches. Pitiful.

It is and yes, the other window is full. Strong pricing though, they must rely on bonus season to sell.

    OP's freely available, whatever next?

I wonder when the first SS Professional piece will hit the windows as the bubble deflates.

Last time I saw one locally was DMR Altrincham June 2018, a GMT LN and 116660 DSSD. Still kicking myself re the LN
