    Any idea if it’s a 37mm or 40mm?

Vast selection including SS sports, explorers etc in the Karnig Rolex Boutique Amman, so very very hard not to bash the credit card.

Much more expensive over there and there is the VAT issue.
    Good heads up though.

Prices for the Explorer and DJ 41 seemed on point with UK RRP once Tax had been reclaimed.

But then you are required to pay VAT on return to the UK.

People list those on eBay seeking a £2k+ profit. Whether anyone buys is, of course, a different question!

Must admit on the train home i did think for a split second should I have bought it but as you say ebay is far to dubious to use for high value items IMO. Its a lot nicer in the flesh than i expected but not for me....I don't have the cash either!

Excellent! I was hoping it was this one when I saw your post on the incomings thread. One rarely, if ever, sees this model in the window but IMO it is the most beautiful watch that Rolex offer today; absolutely stunning. I would have bought it myself had I not picked up a 116503 a few days earlier. Even then I had to tear myself away from that window :-). Enjoy it.

    It’s 116509👍

Apparently this one had been ordered in for a customer, but for whatever reason they couldn’t proceed, so it was placed in the window..

It’s the exact model I’ve had my eye on for some time, so was chuffed to bits when I saw the heads up..😎😎

Is the bracelet fully white gold, too? What's the weight like?

Haha.... it feels like a special piece for sure, but I’m looking at it as an exit piece... my plan is to reduce my collection to just a few special watches that will get worn, and then give the whole watch thing up..

I’ve only been able to buy a piece like this, because of the ridiculous situation and high prices of sports steel watches, which I’ve been lucky enough to get hold of, but will now be sold on to pay for this...

Stunning watch. That is some weight. I had a Hamilton diver on a bracelet that weighed in a little over 200g and I always used to feel like I had half a house brick strapped to my wrist.

Any chance of an outside shot in natural light. In the shop window the dial looks a shade of Silver or Grey, but on your wrist under house lights the whole thing almost looks yellow gold with a champagne coloured dial. Would love to see an accurate photo 👍

Form an orderly queue for this one...

I was in Irvine (KA12 postcode) yesterday. Possibly the second-most run-down town in North Ayrshire (Saltcoats is worse!).

H&T Pawnbrokers had a 114060 in the window for £9.45k, which is more expensive than similar models on Watchfinder. It includes their own Certificate of Authenticity, so probably no B&P.

    Unworn 2016 Sub

In Harry’s Jewellers, Galashiels (Scottish Borders)

Just arrived 2016 Unworn still in stickers Rolex Submariner Date in Stainless Steel.
Complete with box and warranty card.
    Model number 116610LN.
Please note this watch was presented to a director of the oil and gas company schlumberger therefore the case-back was engraved with the company name. Photo included.
    Price £8750.
Viewing welcome in store but please call first 01896208050 or 07766634313

Not sure if this is a great deal or not, or whether a change in caseback in a couple of years might be a reasonable expense......
He advertises on Facebook - find him there. It is a physical shop.

    Ceramic Daytona (white face)
    50th Anniversary Sub.
    Hulk.

All in the window of Avanti Jewellers in Ashbourne Derbyshire this morning. All full sets but no pricing.

I have no affiliation with the business either. I just thought they were a nice trio of watches at an independent jewellers.

    Might be useful to someone.

Good lord no, not my kind of thing at all. There was a solid gold Datejust (think it was a 5 digit reference) with champagne dial in T.H. Baker just up the way though that caught my eye. Not seen one before. They wanted over £9k for it!
