I picked up my SS skyDweller after Basel and was given the warranty card. However, I am well known to them and they know I buy for my own use.

I do wish they hadn’t given the explorer 1 case the rugby player weights and protein shakes treatment. I love my explorer 1 on a strap but would love a new oyster 36mm explorer. Still with all that said it’s my favourite Rolex that is actually available to purchase! Thanks for posting.

I love the Explorer 1 but even in its current size it's still a bit small for me, but I agree. If they can offer the DateJust and DayDate in 41/40 and 36mm why can't they do something similar with the Explorer? Would please both sets of people.

Love my 39mm. I thought it would be too small but after wearing it for a week I think it hits a great sweet spot.

I have 39mm Explorer and read all about this magical 36mm Explorer and wondered if I had made a right choice choosing the bigger model having 6.75" wrist.

Well , I haven't tried 36mm Explorer yet but tried both 36 & 39mm Oyster Perpetual and happy to report that 39mm is just perfect size for me.

I bought mine from the Goldsmiths Reading so it might be a long wait until they get another one.
There is one in Lakeside Goldsmiths through ( although it was last week. Worth giving them a call).

If anyone is near the New Forest, there is a shop in Lymington that always has quite a big range of pre-owned.
Was there on Saturday and had a few nice bits. Newer and older subs, SDs, Daytonas, a GMT two tone, and other bits.

Who is the guy with the bucket??

  34. #1134

The unified Rolex in the window thread

That is a reflection of my good self, looking like a bit of a fatty (they say the camera adds 10lbs...) I only ever go watch shopping with my “bucket for life”.

In my defence it is an odd angle, I had just eaten, have a slight injury that is stopping me train, etc.
I am actually a pretty well sculpted chap, but seems a bit of resting muscle has creeped up on me...... lite beer it is tonight!

Just in case anyone is in Baku for the football there's three milgauss, blue, black and GV. Airking, new two tone seadweller, last gen deep sea at the port Baku mall. Also no date sub up at the Hyatt boutique. Expect to pay large margin over CHF RRP.

I saw a few bluesy's in windows in the south east in the 1st qtr and typical now I'm very tempted there are none!

I've been told possibly a few weeks to a couple of months however if anyone does see one in a dealer in the SE I would appreciate the tip. I love the dial but need to try one on...not sure 100% I can carry the two tone gold....I'm a shrinking violet :)

Otherwise I guess I'll just continue to wait for the LN, 6 months into at least 1 year wait FFS!

Explorer 1 currently showing in the Rolex store in St. Marks square Venice, 6050Euro.

Panerai store appeared to be getting most of the action the time I was there.
