True. I suspect the assumption (well, to be fair, fact) is that lots of people are ringing/visiting every AD they can find.
In reality, my personal experience is that in practical terms it makes no difference. I’m “local” with some (modest) purchase history and I’m clearly not likely to get anything any time soon/ever again.
RG YM40 and Root Beet YM in Mappin in Kingston

Here is the additional YM. The rear watch looked larger, maybe 42mm?
Only TT datejusts and OPs in Brent Cross today, really slim pickings
In any case NoTaGlove was there independently as well today and also spotted all the YMs. That branch is a great branch for harder to find stuff as it is kind of a flagship branch in terms of layout and size but Kingston isnt exactly Mayfair in terms of local demographics.

At £18650 that should be the 37mm RG YM on oyster flex. Unless the store is a bit clueless on its stock and mistakenly placed the price on the 40mm.
White gold yacht-master 42 on oyster flex in the window of Charles Fox Jewellers in Bournemouth yesterday.

Starting to think even YM pricing is getting beyond me now.
I've flipped a few watches to see what I liked and what suits my wrists but I always wanted to try a 40mm Sub or SD for my retirement. Rolex prices going stratospheric has pretty much put paid to that - SWMBO would throw me out of the house if I dig too deep into the villa construction fund.
Is 10K about right for an unworn 124060?
If so there’s one available in Birmingham if anyone’s interested?
28 & 31mm
Not a Rolex as such but the latest Rolex magazine is out if anyone’s interested in picking one up. No 9.
No idea, may well be the case nowadays :-)
I’ve previously picked them up in random AD’s I’ve just popped into as I’ve offered them here before, but it’s probably harder now.
Just thought I’d mention it here in case anyone wants to try and get one before they are all gone.
