I don't count a lot of them, so I'm not going to get all of them out and scare myself.
I think the answer for all but a small number of members is too many. One will do ;)

It's just a matter of time...
Far too many and still increasing. Don't ask how many NATO/Rhino straps I have either :O
Around 30...
I had planned to cut down this year, but whilst a few have gone, others have arrived, so I suspect I've still got enough for a 'one a day for a month' exercise as I did in January this year!

238. The advantages of recording everything in a database! :-)
30, but I want to turn that into 12.
20 plus I think.I tend to find odd ones in jacket pockets and suitcases,so there could be more.
42. Another 10 and i'm done. :-)
SGR
More than I need, less than I want.
Down to 14 now with another 3 or 4 to go.
13, I think. Most I've had as I usually go on a selling spree, but it slowly creeps back up!
I'll have to stop buying I think.....or perhaps 1 more to make it 20.
Anko Tactico
Bulova Moonwatch
CWC SBS Diver
CWC Diver 96'
G-Shock
Longines Admiral
Omega 2541
Omega 2541
Omega 2531
Omega 2264
Omega Constellation
Omega Speedy
Rolex EXII
Rolex 14060
Seiko 6105
Seiko Gen2
GS Quartz
Speedbird III
Tudor 76100
^^^^ Interesting to see a collection listed like this.
Feel better knowing that I am not the only one with too many watches.
I sometimes wish that I had kept a database of all the watches that have come and gone, but I would dread to see what the figure would be on what I have spent (and lost!)
was running at around the 40 mark but have had a bit of a clear out and now down to 26, few more to go yet to pay for my incoming.
I bought a nice box to ensure I kept it down to 10............I now have 14 !!!
Who would have thought it was so bloody difficult to get rid of watches ???
I'm down to 5:
Precise 18Q
Seiko Orange Monster
Vostok 120SE
G-Shock 5600
Omega 2541.80
Funnily enough I made a list of all I've had at the weekend. 27 since March 2014!
10 I think. I haven't got them all with me at the moment. Consists of about 6 I wear regularly, 1 I wear occasionally and 3 I inherited/was given etc so not keen to move them on!
9. One more (Saxonia Moonphase - on order) and I'm done!
Down to just one at the moment - a cheap Seiko chronograph.
I've sold everything else and can't decide what to buy instead.
34 until I pick up a chronomat on Thursday.
I only want 3 more (Santos chronograph, 216570 explorer 2 and a gold chronomat)
it'll be a while before I can afford those though.
Just now somewhere around 45
Only 3 that I wear on a regular basis
1 that I use as an alarm clock
about 15 in a focused vintage/antique collection (mostly too scared of causing damage to wear these)
6 misc watches that I picked up or recovered from joblots like the shoebox below just because they are interesting for the little money they cost me.
and a shoebox of about 20 watches that I bought of the web to get some practice servicing (most of which I will flip once they are done so I can buy another batch of junk to play with)

Number of watches I have = n
n = x - 1
Where x = the number of watches that I want
My wife has pecicely n + 3 watches where n = the number of watches that I have (and claims use of)
Creeped up to 15, down to 14 tomorrow then back up to 15 again Friday
I stand by my earlier comments that you boys are insane LOL
Current watch count is 5 - prior to this year it has been around 1 !
I love all this got a few in coat pockets and some at the back of my sock drawer stuff - wonderful.
I honestly have no idea and I'm also not sure how to count project watches - I have a few of those.
2 Stowas
2 Grand Seikos
4 G-Shocks
2 Sinns
2 Damaskos
1 TF Smiths
3 Seikos
1 Omega
1 Rado
1 Hamilton
1 Tissot
...so that's 20 in all. At least half get some kind of use even if it's infrequent, the others should really be moved on.
way too many, its an illness!
A couple- give or take a couple
Doesn't really matter:-)
I only have a rough idea, they are currently spread across three continents.
Roughly 25 or so, with two more coming tomorrow.
"A man of little significance"
I don't know exactly, I haven't counted.
Well over 100 though
Probably between 20 and 30.
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
100+, across a variety of ranges of value.
Having sold three since July, I'm currently down to 12... however I also have three incoming! When they arrive it'll be:
3 x Breitling
2 x Steinhart
and 1 each of...
Omega
Panerai
Certina
CJR
Maranez
Seiko
Orient
Military Mark V
Armani
and one other that I can't remember right now...

How many do I really have? Two more than I ever admit. Two ancient, non working quartz fashion watches which were presents. As watches, I want to chuck them out, as tokens of affection I couldn't bring myself to part with them. Their being watches rather than anything else is now irrelevant. So its actually 13, not 11. But really it's just eleven.
4 daily wearers
3 dressy, occasional watches
2 mechanical beaters (one seemingly smart)
2 quartz beaters (one properly WR)

Black Monster (beater)
Pretty much done except maybe a dress watch

Blimey!
For those who have mentioned that they own over 100 watches : what on earth do you do with so many?
Do you wear a different watch everyday and keep rotating throughout the year? Or do you wear a few of your Grail watches daily, storing the rest away?
65, not counting Lynn's, (and she has more than me!).
Best Regards - Peter
I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.
