    Seiko 6309-729A

Hello all, I am about to get my hands on this model from an owner who claims he has owned it from new and is un-touched. I am no expert on Seiko Divers and in my search on the web I have come across pictures and sites which say this model should have a "pepsi bezel". My watch in question has a black bezel. Could it still be un-touched and original? Serial number 811530
    regards

Only if you're die-hard fan for all originals, I'll pass if it costs more than GBP150

The 6309-729A was Pepsi. The 6309-729B had an orange dial and a black bezel with goldtone accents.
If it's a black bezel then more than likely it's been changed at some point.......I think!

Here's an all original 6309-729A..... with Pepsi bezel of course.

If the one you are looking at has a black bezel, it could be aftermarket. So many of these are modded, I would check the dial and hands for possible aftermarket too.
