    Bradley Wiggins Patek?

Is Wiggo wearing a Nautilus or something here?

I watched the "Road to Rio" documentary the other evening and he seems to have quite a collection. There was definitely a PP and an AP royal oak (possibly bumblebee) in there too.

Gettin' paid too much. He'd better get a gold. Two, even, if Cav can sort it out in the Madison :)

The Madison is not an Olympic event.

Oh, you're right. It's Cav who has the chance of two, in the points, and the team pursuit.

I was in Halfords the other night and he has put his name on some really really rubbish bikes.

Assume that was worth a million £ to him ?

Wiggins does not have to buy his own bikes, so that's money straight into the watch fund. It would be interesting to see a Campagnolo and Panerai joint project.

he enjoys the money he has made and compared to footballers it's prob. a lot less. He collects guitars as well. Some of this stuff may come free from sponsors or for winning events abroad. Some cyclists get watches as a thank you for helping a successful team mate. Cavendish has given IWC watches I think. Some riders also have sponsorship deals outside the UK. Cavendish endorsed BMW I think as did Wiggo at the last Olympics (he was spotted driving an X5 at the time)

The wealthier a celeb becomes the less of their money they will spend.

People suck up to them and shower them with free products.......but we'd all take it too.

    Bradley Wiggins Patek?

Some of you are a right miserable lot

Wiggins is one of those athletes (compared to footballers) who based on the effort he's put in and the success he's earned, I believe has actually deserved some of the rewards that have come his way.

Pro cycling is brutally hard and in terms of olympics and LE tour he has scaled the heights incomparable to any Brit before him......so as far as I'm concerned, fair play Sir Brad

At least he's spent his money on some pretty cool stuff and not on looking like some gangsta twat from the hood
