I struggled to see it! :D Unfortunately I dont have a macro lens and I am the very opposite of an accomplished photographer. I really I just take snaps with Nikon DSLRs. I might have more luck with an iPhone and lots of zoom: I will let you know.

Through the display back, using a more powerful and far shorter focal length loupe, I can clearly see the ETA logo and 2824-2 markings. Unfortunately the auto-iris on an iPhone can't focus on the loupe clearly. I have taken some snaps but you're as likely to make out Nessie as you are read the text.
