I don't have a Breitling but have always liked the Navi....this version looks especially nice.

In before the "Oooh, it's got too many markers on the dial" and the "I hate every Breitling, but..." brigades arrive.

Yes, looks good to me too

Nice alternative to the classic design, like it.
Although it 'works' I'm not keen on the rubber strap as I can't wear them.
And the 46mm case, again although in proportion to the design is too big for my wrist

Shame as I really do like it

I'm a big fan of the brand and of the black steel finish but just don't think it suits this one at all.....

If you buy a Navitimer I think you should get the classic one.

    This watch is too big.

It is not the classic Navitimer.

It is on a rubber strap.

Nice design. Bit big though at 46mm.

I'm a big fan of Breitling and a big fan of the navi, but I have to say I'm a little disappointed with this. The Navi is steeped in history and one of those watches that doesn't needed to be tinkered with. Breitling should have just left it alone in my opinion.

Love it. Not so keen on the strap though

    I agree.

There are very, very few icons of the watch world, the Submariner is one, and the Navitimer is another.

Both look good in their stainless steel cases, and odd in black. Just my opinion.

If they had called this anything but Navitimer, I have to admit that it would be strangely attractive, but sorry, it's not a real NAV!

Really like this but would never own one!

Reason why I've seen a fair few of these Breitling Blacksteel models where the DLC coating has not lasted well at all.

It's as much a Navitimer as all those special edition Speedmasters are Speedmasters.

Sure, the original is best (no quibble there), but this is a nice (if little large) watch in its own right.

Think of it as a DSSD to a Sub..

I like the look of this, size doesn't put me off, my B50 is the same and wears perfectly on my skinny wrist, agree about the strap but would like to see it on the mesh, also like the 2 sub dials which I think makes it look less busy, but then that's just me.

I love the black steel breitlings. Not overly keen on the strap.

I have a sneaky feeling, that blacksteel, like other fashion trends will become less popular, and ultimately unpopular as time goes buy.

Like me old pa used to say, 'buy in haste, repent at leisure'.
