I'm still wearing my 1998 Oakley A wires regularly. Great sunglasses but as I've never bought any since wouldn't know if the quality is inferior now. Also have some 1995 Arnette Dogs in perfect condition and I'm glad to see Randolf Engineering aren't on the "designer" list. Hopefully they make them in house for the cost.
My no 1 sunglasses at the moment are Maui's bought from SC but am after some Persol wayfarers.
How are the Persol range holding up at the moment?
Randolph aviators for me... No complaints after 5 years of use.
I'd love a replacement set of Romeo's but the price has gone crazy, lost them when we moved houses three times in a year, had the orange/red lenses and having a larger head these fitted perfectly.
Currently running a few pairs of Crosshairs but the quality is no longer there.
I've a hankering for some Maui Castles which I've been considering for a year or so, but want to try on.

I bought some from an outlet mall in Florida, the best I’ve ever had , fabulous lenses.

Not quite. I have MJ ka’anapali Which are titanium frameless.
I’ve had to replace a lense because of cracks and the bridge which just broke in half.
I do still love them but they haven’t been cheap to own.
Which model do you have?
Maybe I should look at something not so delicate next time.
ic! berlin for me. Screwless hinges, very robust and some cracking designs.

Maui Jims , I have 3 pairs the oldest are about 15 years old , had to send them for repair to Southampton a few years back after the wife sat on them in the car, they repaired and polished the lenses FOC , great service
Lenses are the best I have tried let alone owned and I used to be a Rayban fan , still have some Raybans and Oakleys but the Maui Jims are my fav and awesome for driving
Carbon fibre framed Ray-Ban, with B&L lenses.
Ralph Lauren mostly.
So clever my foot fell off.
Carl Zeiss (Oberkochen not Jena) aviators
B&L Ray Ban Wayfairers
Porsche for me
But only because they came free with the car

Oakley - they won my loyalty when a pair of Eye Jackets took the brunt of my head hitting the roll over bar when the vehicle we were in came to an unplanned halt. The frame snapped in two in doing that but they stopped my face snapping basically. I sent them to Oakley explaining what had happened asking if they could quote me for a repair (they were old, battered but had sentimental value) and they sent me a new pair completely free of charge in return, in addition to sending back my old pair as a momento.
