I currently have a 2254, 2255, 2594 and a 2221. Since buying a sub, I am looking at reducing my collection a little. I'm going to start with the 2255 as although I really like the dial, I can't deal with the polished bezel or the not very nice (IMO) blue colour font included there-in.
So, I'm probably thinking Sub, 2254, and - on the basis I can find one - the titanium 2232.80. The latter has the same electric blue dial, but has the more brushed/darker looking Ti case and bezel.
My only worry is that the Ti bezel has the same blue colour font - on some photos it looks perfectly black, on others the same as the 2255. Can anyone who has it confirm the font colour?
Here's the stock Omega website picture (where the font looks black..)

Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
Bugger, that does look nice.....but I really don't need...
Ah was wondering what the ref of the Ti model was - was assuming it would be 2255.somthing
Looking good but I'm sticking with my 2254 plan (if I ever see one come up at a sensible price!).
I can confirm that the 2232.80.00 and the 2231.80.00 (sorry, no link as the Omega site no longer shows it) have blue numerals etc on the bezel. So, I believe, did the early black (2031.50.00 / 2231.50.00) and anthracite (2232.30.00) dial models...until Omega got around to producing a black numeral bezel.
How old are these models ?

I have the ti Seamaster - it is currently nudging ahead of the sub for wrist time. I'd say that you may not even need the 2254, mine went to my brother for his 30th and I haven't really missed it if I'm honest (occasional pangs aside)
7 years later, I finally decided to get one. Amazing watch, I should have bought one much earlier (and was clearly keen in 2016!). Strap is rubbish due to the titanium stretch, but I like it on an £8 nato anyway! I much prefer the non-mirrored bezel vs the 2255, but horses for courses etc.
I really shouldn’t have waited so long..
I loved mine, but eventually moved it on.
I think it was the bezel that never completely did it for me.
I bought the OEM blue rubber and Titanium deployant for it, which was fantastic! Bloody expensive mind, so it’s still sat in the watch box awaiting something else! 🤣
First nice watch i bought 24 years ago, still have it today.
It’s a blue fond.
It’s my most comfortable watch i have. The titanium and bracelet feels so smooth and weightless.
The dial is mesmerizing as well. It looks blue but turns purple in the sun.
I prefer the titanium bezel as it's a little darker and more brushed, than the "in your face" mirrored stainless steel variety of the electric blue. My bezel needs rebrushing and I have one of those fibre pens, but I'm a bit scared to use it!
I don't know if it's all titanium seamasters, but the speedmaster style bracelet has sooo much stretch. It's like holding a very well used 1980s DateJust strap, not a 2006ish watch!
