**Result is in** Free watch! Competition thing! Exclamation!

    Edit: Winner announced!

As I was off to my bed last night I noticed it had stopped in a fairly anti-climactic way at around tea time. The picture below shows that it stopped at 18:06 (and 46 seconds).

As far as I can tell this makes village the closest with a guess of 18:07. Good guessing! I told you it had only had the gentlest of shakes to power it, pretty good really.

Village has asked that it go to Dave's Nepal fund - a magnanimous gesture. I will be in touch with Dave and get it sent over forthwith.

Congrats and commiserations all round. If anyone is feeling flushed with the joys of sprummer, overburdened with cash or wants to drown their sorrows at missing out through charity, the fundraiser tab is at the top.

    Have a nice day!

    Mike

    Hello all

'Tis the season to be nice, and as I was the benefactor of some kind help on the forum recently I thought it only fair I make like a saw and reciprocate.

Today's freebie is a Seiko 5 in an I'm-not-even-sure-I've-worn-it condition. Characterful little fella with more than a hint of a Genta influence. 39mm without crown, automatic (7S26 movement) and with a bracelet big enough for me (at least 7.5 inches. As it were.)

I don't have box or papers but I do have a Jiffy bag with your name on it. All you need to do is guess what time it will display when it stops in the next twelve hours or so - I only gave it a short period of wear when getting the photo uploaded so it shouldn't be too long. Be precise - to the minute. Try not to pick a time that other people have as they will win it if they're before you and it comes up. Just pop your time on this thread and at maybe this time tomorrow or so I'll announce the winner.

I would like you to donate a little to the fundraiser if you are the winner, but I won't chase you if you don't. Steve might though :)

    Good luck!

    Mike

You planning on staying up late? I'll take 1.24 am. If I'm right please donate it to the Nepal collection.
