    Chase Hattan - Any dealings?

    Hi,

Has anyone dealt with this company? Very few reviews online.

    Appreciate your time, thanks. :)

    Greetings

    Greetings
Nearly bought a PAM233 from them a couple of weeks ago. Was about to transfer the money and noticed a scratch on the crystal that they hadn't disclosed. They acknowledged it was slightly scratched but wouldn't discount the price. Found the, quite short, took my business else where.

    Thanks for your answers.
Not sure what to think. They have a Facebook profile with quite good activity, and an Ebay account.

Just a bit worried about the lack of reviews.

I believe them to be a genuine company but their descriptions and pics aren't the best. Make sure you get lots of pics of the watch you want and study them closely before you purchase.

Facebook can be misleading as it's easy to remove/delete a negative comment to give your company a positive name..

    They do seem real: https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/08305965

But that name really is a dodgy choice. It's clearly modelled on Chase Manhattan Bank (as was) and that sort of intended linkage immediately raises suspicions in my mind, even if they are unwarranted in practice.

Anyone had any dealings with this company?
Website still seems poor and not up to date, but are they genuine or dodgy?

Apologies for bumping an old thread but thought it would be useful to post here.

I sold my 60th anniversary Railmaster on eBay a few months ago. It was in excellent condition but had certainly been worn a few times.

Surprised to see it listed by this company on their website and eBay now as 'brand new and unworn'....

Brand new and unworn together with '' original purchase receipt'',, hmmm.

To be fair, they're not hiding anything there; just confessing an initial lie. Lol.

It's the same limited edition number, same receipt.

Can’t get any more obvious than that Ben.

Did you call call them out for being lying b*****ds, would have been fun.

Whilst they are misrepresenting, Ben's watches tend to be in such spanky condition, it's hard to tell they're not new. People buy 'new' watches from shops that have possibly seen more wear.

I did, and their response was:

"Now that is bizarre as it came into stock in a package of sealed new and unworn pieces from a UK retailer. I shall look a little further into this on Monday when our shop is open."
