Depends entirely on the price. I like both in different ways.

(As an aside, I think I'd rather a JLC Master Date/Master Moon or similar to that PP, beautiful though it is!)

It's lovely but, for me, it really does 'all depend'.

Alternatively, is "both" a valid answer?

Depends whether you deem it an investment. If so, I'd go with the Casio. Lower servicing costs. The Patek's a dog to service. Not a looker too; I'd suggest an equivalent Frederique Constant. Now that's value for money.

Only 300 of the this, but much as I like the Frog, I'm not a Tokyo FM fan so, that

Not even an element of 'it depends on' for me, that, that and that.

They're probably a lpt closer on price than one might think, around £65k maybe?

This doesn't do it for me, so I'd go with that.

not bored but frustrated as I just realized that I need to save 10 years to buy the PP, another 10 years to buy the 2nd PP, then sell both to pay for the G, only if it is yet disintegrated in 20 years.

PS discounted interest nor present value applied.

    Go for the GShock.
The other one looks like a Kickstarter watch or an Invicta.

Err.. £65K difference or are you saying that the Frogman is £65K!?

What's it made of? That would be ten times the price of the next most expensive G-Shock.

It is the Murakami Frogman. There is one currently on auction in Japan. Yesterday it had reached £65K and today it is at £84k but has still not reached its reserve price.

    ^^^ Thanks for the links.

Holy good gravy! What a price. Much as I like Frogmen (Frogmans?), that's too much to pay for one in my opinion.

I said that THIS or THAT depended on price for me so at that price for THIS I have to choose THAT. :-)

Wow.. can't believe the casio is worth so much. Regardless, I'd choose the classic patek any day.

The Frog was on my watch list but it didn't make its reserve of ~£91,000 this time...
