    The ALTERNATIVE Friday

Which of your previous watch would you wear now if not has been sold?
We have seen many regret threads, but which one of your loved but gone watches would you really put on your wrist for this Friday?
I just went through my Photobucket Images and got that sentimental feeling...

Not an easy choice, but I would definitely wear this old TransOcean today:

Serious flippers are in advantage. So let's say, wrist shots are prefered?
(And I know, I know. It's just another good excuse to show off )

I had a reason for selling this watch, but I had also had reasons for tracking it down and having it looked after. A Soviet Luch with the famous 2209 manual movement (thin yet robust) and classic soviet numerals, 35mm case on a blue lizardskin strap to match the coolness of the sunburst silver dial

The only one I regret letting go and only because it had a random loss of time issue. I will get another one day as it was just 'right'.

It didn't cost much to buy, I had it serviced by Richard Askham who did an amazing job......and then I sold it

The dial and hands were perfect, and what a lovely blue.

'Idiot' doesn't even begin to describe me!

(I know it's Monday but what the heck!)

That reminds me to dig mine out and send it in for a refurb. No doubt it will find its way onto the SC at some point down the line :)
