Great - now it's a tiny phone? I'd love to try and txt on it or compose an email or post on Instagram / Twit Tweet might work i guess if breaking away from the phone.. Anyway - the iWatch is not a watch as others have said,

But to the OP - I wear a garmin 24x7 for sleep and wake movement monitoring (for health reasons) on my right wrist - which doesn't look like a watch. And a watch of choice on my left wrist.

Seems there are a couple of double wristers here, I like the idea of the pocket chain but as I live in shorts and a tshirt it may not quite work.
The small screen will have me reaching for my glasses but to make a call or message etc just use Siri .

2 problems I see, I will lose the heart rate monitor if it is not on my wrist and the second more particular to me is my iPhone is my work number so between 8-4 it is answered by someone else in the next room. I will keep getting the call notifications which may be annoying while I work.

    First world problems eh

Isn't a phone on a chain a pocket watch with benefits?

I'm thinking of a Fitbit on the other wrist but will try on in the house before entering public!!

2 watches, well that just reminds me of a trip to Rome, while walking down one of the trendy shopping streets I seen this big Italian guy heading towards me, must have taken him 2 hours to get ready in the morning, he was preened and full of himself but he had 2 pairs of sunglasses on, one pair on and the other on top of his head, you just had to laugh at the bloke - 2 watches would make the same impression on me..

Don't see why more people wear a watch on their ankles too.

I wear my apple watch or Fitbit charge HR/Blaze on my right wrist and my auto on my left. Not really fussed what others things, more what word for me.

Expensive mech on one wrist, and G-shock on the other (to check it's still working right ;). I tried that once and felt like a goon. Makes more sense than walking down the street carrying a massive smartphone in each hand!

I feel it really restrictive wearing something on the unusual wrist, and like something is missing without something on the usual one.

ForeTrex 401 is quite a useful add-on to your right wrist if you ask me

When diving a dive watch on one wrist, and a dive computer on the other.

Haven't they taken it full circle and just put the electronic device back into your pocket?! In other words, where your phone is and what the A-watch is trying to overcome?

It may solve the OPs dilemma but for many it would seem to be a pointless hipster accessory which negates a lot of the purpose of the digital monitoring device in the first place.

    Wearing something on both wrists

The Tangente was a bit of a set up , I arranged with a sales lady from Wempe to show Nomos Junghans Max Bill and Wempe sport model.
    She chose Nomos.

Looks like i am in the minority with my small black Pebble time round on the right wrist under my cuff.
I wear a long sleeve shirt all year round with mys skinny arms.
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pebble-20-Ti...le+round+black

It is very discrete and small compared to most smartwatches.
Got a mechanical on the left wrist.

With the larger more showy apple watch i can understand why that wouldnt work.

She chose wisely, that time :D

I love Nomos, and just ordered one last week (a Metro Datum Gangreserve).

The real problem will come when have Apple Watch v3 or so, and it is perhaps truly useful and I want one. What to do then, for all of us? :(

a bracelet on one and watch on other is okk. a watch on both does make you look like a clown to be honest. each to their own though lol

I LOL'd when I saw that too. Utterly risible.

    Wearing something on both wrists

You are not alone. A meeting I attended last Friday morning, a chap I was sat with had a Bremont solo on one wrist and an Apple Watch on the other. Strange but true......

Day one of a watch on each wrist and no one pointed and laughed at me (yet)

Most of us here have more than one watch, some a few more and some a lot more, and this is completely normal for those bitten by the watch bug. However wearing two watches at once, either two on one wrist or one on each wrist, even with a "valid" reason, will make the wearer look a cock. ;-)

I also do this with a Garmin, as Martyn said it looks like a band rather than a watch.

Think you need to move somewhere colder Mark. Give up the constant t-shirt weather

that way you could hide them under the cuffs and nobody would even notice the watches. Problem solved

I must admit I rarely take my Fitbit charge hr off these days, which sometimes results in wearing it on the right wrist and a mechanical watch on the left. The exception would be if I'm going somewhere 'smart', in which case I do ditch the Fitbit.

The main thing that bothers me in this picture is you didn't tuck the strap ends under keepers .

I don't think I'd wear an Apple Watch and a mechanical, I also didn't realise the Apple Watch had the facility to monitor heart rate. Could be time to say goodbye to the Fitbit.

If you do swap Fitbit for Apple when will you wear your mechanical watches?

Not at the same time, the Charge HR is really only like a band (although does display the time if needed), the Apple looks too much like a 'proper' watch, and I agree with what's been said and wouldn't personally wear two watches.

I had/have the same Charge HR and wore it with a watch on the other wrist.

Would need to be unconscious to replicated your Zen like calm pulse rate

Heart rate has really fallen since I started training again and imo the Fitbit has really helped. I'm over 50 and last year had high blood pressure and was obese according to my BMI.

...so what's the consensus with Fitbit HR on the right hand/ mechanical watch on the left? I'm tempted.

Used to do that before moving to Apple watch, at dinner on Friday there was 4 men around table, 1 no watch, 1 vintage JLC, me with Apple and Tudor and 1 with FItbit charge HR and a vintage Rolex.
So no problem that night - no one has commented adversely in last week

I think it'd be okay if you wore a fitbit band on one and a mechanical watch on the other. Though less is always more i reckon.
