    Suffering from poor eye sight?

Well I do, especially when changing batteries in my wife's Cartier, or adding/removing screws from a Rolex Strap. In fact anything involving tiny things.

So I bought one of these.

Excellent and beautifully made. with the added advantage of being able to be worn over glasses.

Please note I have no relationship with the manufacturer or seller, but these are really excellent value.

I`ve never tried one but it looks OK.

I find it amazing that people attempt to swap batteries (or even straps) without using some type of magnifier. Even with good eyesight it makes the job easier, although learning to work through a magnifier of any sort is an acquired skill. I use a clip-on loupe for my work glasses and various strengths of glass held in the eye socket for the really tricky stuff. That doesn`t suit everyone but it's second nature to me.

Eyeglasses and loupes can be bought cheaply from Cousins, they're so useful for inspecting stuff too. Makes more sense than spending a lot on fancy strap-changing tools IMO......ideal answer is to have both.

    Thanks for the recommendation.
I've been looking for something like this and rather go with a recommend than buying cold and hoping.

    Order being made.

I had the same moment a few weeks ago and bought these from Cousins. I think yours might be a better option though I haven't got any complaints.

Thanks - just ordered one - should be easier to wear and use than a screw in monocular loupe

    Mine arrived today.

I am very impressed by the range of lenses included, the number of adjustments and the option to swap the earpieces for an elastic headband. It also has a very bright LED and and came with a cleaning cloth and box for the lenses. The overall quality feels much better than I had expected.

I won't ask quite how they can manufacture this, sell it on eBay (paying eBay and PayPal fees) and ship it from China to the UK, all for £7.99 - and I bought mine when eBay had the 20% promotion, so only paid £6.40 for it.

I notice there are no pictures of someone wearing this in the sales add, I wonder if someone could post a pic of them wearing it once it arrives?

    purely for a laugh.
