Also, thinking about your inaccuracy issue. Is there not a way to regulate the timing? I've never seen one but assume it's a well made module. Some digitals can be adjusted, although it's quite a discrepancy you have. Might be worth just getting someone to fit a new quartz crystal to the module, shame to spoil your new acquisition.
There was a chap on eBay who was advertising quartz repair for Omega. Granted it was for analogue quartz but I contacted him about repair in an old Seamaster and he said he can fix anything wrong with them. I'd imagine he could swap a crystal easy enough.
I can't find him now but he does an auction for his service and it normally ends at around £60. Sure someone on here will have seen him.
If anyone is looking for one of these then this gentleman based in Germany has one for sale. He sent me this PM on WUS.
I don't know him but can put you in touch if interested.

Actuall i decidet not to sell.
In my opinion the LCD is actuall getting popular becuase of Omega putting it on it´s homepage and on the 60´speedmaster poster wich is available in the omega shops.

Welcome to the forum!
That's a splendid example you have there - pleased to hear that you decided to keep it.
Thanks for the link too.
Heres a good example spotted by seabiscuit (Sean)

Prices continue to rise!
Gosh that's dear.Mines due back from STS very soon and has to and would be happy with £1100 so that price seems
quite dear.
The LCD seems to become famous
There´s been a speedmaster meeting in Vienna. In the Omega boutique there seems to be a small Omega Museum.
Here´s the link to a review of the meeting and some nice pictures including the 186.0004

Apologies for the revival of such an old thread but would someone (any owners such as the OP) still have a copy of the owner's manual)? I'd love to get a copy of it or a direction as to where I may find it.
This has me feeling rather nostalgic in relation to my old one. I would have loved to have kept it but at the end of the day couldn't justify having so much money tied up in a piece that I only wore occasionally.
I’ve got money tied up in watches I rarely wear but the Beauty of having money tied up in something like this is it’s better than money in the bank so not really that hard to justify for me.
My Mrs might say something about the amount of watches I have sat there but when I go through them and say what they owe me and what they’re now worth she soon sees I’m not that barmy with a load of old watches I’ve had for years ‘sat there doing nothing’
I do get the odd “well why don’t you sell them?” (Same as for my car which has more than doubled in value in last 6 years) but my answer to that is... if you had your money in the bank and were getting huge interest on it would you take it out to sit under the mattress and earn nothing?
I then like to ask about her shoe collection as a financial investment.
I was just about to post up my TZ/Reddit/WUS ad for mine too - haha two buses come at once then - I've sent you a PM @Maydew - using funds for my own microbrand of a micro-rotor watch :D
Reviving thread as looking for one of these again
I had two of the round version and a few other variants but all now sadly sold on.
