Any English teachers out there? Assistance required please.

My yr7 daughter has been given a piece of homework to complete on tricolons. Specifically on increasing and decreasing tricolons.

Now she understands what a tricolon is - a series of 3 words, phrases or clauses, as in "veni, vidi, vici (I came, I saw, I conquered) or location, location, location, but we are struggling a little with the increasing and decreasing variants.

My understanding is that the words increase and decrease as appropriate but I'm not sure whether that's the number of words in each phrase , or whether it is in terms of the tricolon reaching a climax or vice versa if that makes sense.

It would be really, really helpful if somebody could help me out, and better still give me an example of each that I can show her to help her grasp the concept.

A bit esoteric even for a twelve-year-old.
Increasing and decreasing refers to the content of each part of the tricolon. So an increasing tricolon would have the final statement more important than the first: 'I came, I saw, I conquered'. Decreasing would be the reverse.

I'd say that was a peaked tricolon (I may have made this up). I'll bet the kitchen came to more than the 5513 even if it wasn't going to at the beginning!
